Cannot publish a modpack because of copyrighted mods

hey there, you have deleted the messages now and sounded very frustrated due to lack of answer. the mod in question is not, in fact, an open source one, and has all rights reserved licence. just because a mod is abandoned and uploaded on github, does not mean the copyright is no longer applicable—it is, and depending on the country of a publisher, probably for a very long time (a few decades at the very least). unfortunately, there is not much modrinth can do in this situation. you can either remove the mod, or ask users to manually download it
