#Problem with e4mc

Hello everyone, here is my problem:

Im basically trying out the E4mc mod so i can play with a friend of my, and of course to spice things up im trying to add some mods, my problem is that, even though i´ve been told many times and have searched that in fact my friend is not supposed or required to have the mods i do in order for us to play. it still asks them to install them before enterirng, and when done, well, it works, but the whole reason is so i can host the world so my friend doesnt have to deal with the mods.

So thats pretty much it, i am not sure whats going on or if i am not doing things right, i mean, i open the LAN world, they get the link and they join (or try when i have the mods), so i dont know hwat i am missing. PLease help

if you export the mod pack and then just give it to them and they import it then they should have the same mods as you

your friend doesn't need e4mc installed in order to join your world, but they do need to install any mods that add content

So basically my friend has to have the mods? I thought e4mc gave this advantage so we could avoid that everyone had to have the mods and just one person, the host, needed to have them

mods that don't modify the actual gameplay -> ✅ you don't need them
mods that actually do modify gameplay -> ❌ both sides need them
