Did you make the modpack on modrinth? If so, it should say mr.pack.

#

After that you want to click on the new profile button or new modpack you want to make, then up in the corner ones you've clicked that, there should be a new button saying "import from file" or something alike. Then it should show you the modpack you've exported.

#

Tho if you made the modpack on places like curseforge you'll have convert it into a mr.pack, which is a bit complicated, so try and search up "how to make a modpack from curseforge into a mr.pack" on youtube. As someone there should help you with the explanation.

Does the file have the modrinth logo?

Well strange, when i export mine it says mr.pack 1.0.0 and has the modrinth logo.

#

You should'nt export the mr.pack to a folder or file or anything. Just export it simply onto nothing. And then it should show the modrinth logo.

#

Thats exactly what you shouldn't do

#

Its fine

#

Okay, well you'll need to download something called prism launcher, there it should convert your file to a mr.pack, try searching up "how to make me pack".

#

Modrinth is still very much in beta so there are still some bugs and it doesn't fully support all features that it should have.

#

Then try and search up how to convert a modpack into a mr pack.

#

I understand that it is pretty tedious and all

#

I'll try finding a video.

#

This guy should help you explain to convert it.

#

Oh well, i can understand it too, i had a friend who spend a week trying to find out how to make it a mr pack, even tried getting support from modrinth itself, tho eventually he did find out. How he did it i dont really remember.

#

Yes

#

You did it now it should work correctly

#

The file says it doesn't have any mods on it, why i dont understand

#

You can rename it when your friend imports it, you'll just have to right click on the profile and then you should come to a place where you can rename it SP2. No need to rename it as "Sigmapack 2".

#

Yea

#

Just remember when you export it you should also include the logo and such

#

Try exporting it into a zip file

#

It explains how to export the modpack im pretty sure

#

And making it into a mrpack

#

Server side one, if you have a mod that adds structures and new gear for example.

I thought i already told you that you didn't need to name the file, and that you could rename it on modrinth.

When exporting the modpack, you can include some things including the profile picture, i can give you a screenshot:

#

Nevermind i thougth it would work. You likely dont need it anyway, and if your friend needs the profile picture to recognize the modpack, you can just send him the image you want the profile picture and make him put it on manually. Which shouldn't take a long time.

#

Are you on drugs?

#

No problem just wanted to check.

#

4th one? what are you talking about
