#new to modrinth, might need help

the common suggestion is to download and use prism launcher, import your modpack into prism, and then export it from there as an mrpack to then import into modrinth
modrinth is still in beta, so its missing some features
its an entire instance
so it should
you can also tell prism to keep or remove them
its like the first one that pops up
youll know it when you see it
should also be linked in https://discord.com/channels/734077874708938864/1194471048238874754
okay its not linked there but it is mentioned
yes
ask prism
they have a discord
(you need java installed)
then hit browse
yes java software
modrinth bundles it iirc
you can grab it from here
https://adoptium.net/
good job
now navigate to your java install
... yes?
anyway mine is located at "C:\Program Files\Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-21.0.2.13-hotspot\bin\java.exe" but yours might be different
everyone starts somewhere
its an installer
so just
run the installer
you can move the world over pretty easily
just put it in your instance folder
make sure you COPY it, not move it
go into your instance folder and copy the world then
export
ask prism
mine are in D:\Space\Games\Minecraft\PrismLauncher\instances\instanceName\.minecraft\saves
but that might be different from yours
``
on both sides
the world should already be there if you import the modpack into prism
because your modpack is an instance itself
gg

sorry i shouldnt laugh
this is modrinth trying to be helpful
i would use prism if you need forge for this
and since you already have it there, bam
but i think theres a way to manually define a forge instance
i could be wrong tho
thats not my department

or
just
play on prism
you did all the fiddling already

none at all
because you're not providing information
a log, for one, and two, how did you install aeroblender
and three, what makes you think i know how to solve this
this isn't a modrinth issue
instance/.minecraft/logs/latest.log, via https://mclo.gs
Easily paste your Minecraft logs to share and analyse them.
is your instance still open
close it and send that file again
this is missing the end of the report with the crash details
but from what im understanding it looks like there's some sort of conflict with supplementaries or petshop
good job
next time you may want to open a new thread and mark this one as solved
good idea
oh it is

bumping an old thread is called necro-ing, and often it does not help your case if the issue you're having is unrelated
