🔌 Adding Microsoft account to Modrinth App

Unfortunately, the way you currently sign in to your Minecraft account via Modrinth App can be confusing.

Here's how you do it:

1. Click on the “Steve” icon in top left of the window.
2. Press the green →] button to start signing in.
3. Once browser window opens, go back to the app and copy the code.
4. Go back to browser and enter your code; continue following instructions to authorize Modrinth App.
5. Once complete, go back to the app and see that there are no errors in bottom right corner, and that Steve icon changed to your player skin.

ℹ️ About “Sign in” button in Settings
The →] Sign in button in Settings is meant to sign in to your Modrinth account, which will allow you to follow and report mods from the app in the future.

If you have GitHub account, you can leave 👍 Thumbs-up reaction on the issues about current sign in process:

• Improve the Minecraft sign in flow
• Don't immediately open the browser when signing in
