Couldnt find official support so here we are.. thanks modrinth, anyways real pain since my server requires client to have Forge 47.2.20.

forge 1.20.1 or later is currently broken due to changes in Forge ModLoader.

It's just not on modrinth so I can't use my modpack on the app

Maybe I'll just switch to neoforge even though it's not really a great option for 1.20.1

Decode maybe you could help the guy and give him some information instead of being incredibly vague to someone who probably has minimal knowledge about modding

I think their just bs'ing they say it doesn't work but I mean I'm using it without issue, I would just downgrade but that means reverting bug fixes on the server jar im using
Neoforge is an option too but for 1.20.1 it's not the best choice 1.20.2+ is better but even less mods even exist for that version
All round it's either a compatibility issue, lack of content or potentially introducing bugs none are especially better than the other
If there actuallyis an issue with forge 47.2.18+ I'll update this post but at this time I have no reason to believe that as fact
