My first character died. I'm playing as the next in line but their hunger and sleep meters aren't going down. I tried toggling hunger and sleepiness off and back on, and I tried restarting the game but they are stuck full. No status effects from hunger, so it's like I have it turned off.
I can provide more info if needed.

I am dealing with the same thing - I forced my character to suicide by eating death cake so that I could play as her daughter - but now the sleep and hunger meters are not working for the daughter.
