Hey everyone! I started playing on an official pvp server some days ago with friend. We have one big question: how can we hide our raft and our dinos? We used to hide our stuff inside rock but after that one time our raft was broken... so not the best idea

Have multiple small bases on multiple server to store stuff so you never lose everything at once, also before you get heavys and stuff 2x2 stone base should have enough space for everything you need

look up some guides how to build really efficient 2x2 hidden base, you kinda place fabricator on top, can fit smithy, 3 forges, beds and mortar and pestles

can even be 2x1 if want to be really hidden :)

so you need to preemptively shoot in front of a target

The hardest spot in the game to raid offline is Center North Ice but it’s almost impossible to find it open. Island Ice is very good too but you need to be on much more often as there are ways to cheese it like tek rifling hatch frames and whatnot

lava has a giant entrance and not much space, while triple can be defended solo with a reaper and mushrooms is pretty strong on unof since water dinos arent strong

Triple has 2 entrances and is prone to owl bombing or PT spinning, mushrooms entrance is large enough that a you don’t need to worry about a lot of the wall since turret count on most servers. A duo I know raided one with high hp turtles and a tek mosa. Lava as long as it isn’t built by a kid w no sense of how to build would be a more difficult raid imo. As a breeding base, no but as a main base w some magma breeding probably the way to go.

@topaz basalt @vapid abyss @wide wren We need hand held anti-turrets weapons, for ex: rockets and nades not effective as turrets shoot it mid air. the only safe/ranged turrets destruction method now is dinos and cannons, and it's not always possible to use soakers/tankers dinos or cannons, (some bases are well fit in tight areas/caves) also not always possible to rush a wall of 50 turrets with c4.. so conclusion, let tek rifle (as an end-game and costly already) damage turrets. think there was a bit of a wording fail on my behalf, inis are part of the game, and removing them and the game wouldn't even run. its the externally modified inis that are removing 'key graphics components' as per the CoC specifies. e.g. whats above, tree foliage etc. that give an unfair advantage.

such as when you have the ini that removes shadows/textures etc that improves your pc's performance

they wont even listen to you about it at all, and than u go to battle eye, and their like nope go to wildcard, thats why hes trying to get a gm/dev attention in discord about it,
because otherwise your given the run around the whole time in a basic f u style manner

i have issues with battleeye myself, it hasnt banned me, but it doesnt like my hacked direct x, which fixes an issue with direct x not detecting and using surround speakers, which has been an issue for over 10 years. so if i go on official i've gotta restore default direct x or play with no sound.

@cursive gull yea i knwo its a false ban wave on my friends thats why im trying to help em out cuz we were able to narrow what majority of the bans came from, ive sent battle eye an email offering them the program to show its flagging as a false positive, im sure there were ALOT of justified bans in the wave, but i think more than not most were false flagging from join sim or server watch overlays. just waiting on a response back from them still =/

also most players are single monitor, thats why the over lay is ideal cuz it just is in the upper right or left corner of ur game screen 🙂

especially with how ram consuming the web browsers are lately xD

CI for small tribes works wonders, just grab a decent rathole until you have everything you need for holding a bigger place. You can't simply deal with transfers with 2 turrets, not even 20 would save you (and those should be heavies, not just the small ones), that's why you need to play sneaky until you can stand your ground.

Stegos are all around more useful but trikes are a better soaker but only useful in certain areas where the turrets are directly in front of you and not above you or around you

The most useful soaker tho would be a racer because you can box yourself in with no worries of ever getting shot off

Doedicurus is a good soaker if your raiding a base. Since if the Doedicurus is curled up turrets will still shoot it and it has 90% reduced damage while curled up.

depends on your base more than anything i'm sure, if its a pronounced base you're not gonna be hiding, then its good, if on the other hand its a hidden base, you wouldnt want it unless you're being raided
