I can only talk about Smalltribes with this.
It was hard enough to raid on ASE, but then atleast you had to be somewhat decent to defend your base now any bob can defend a base easily.
I would say raiding in ASE was about 3X times harder than defending
In ASA raiding is about 10X harder than defending which is just ridiculously hard.
Me and my tribe used to fob bases regulary on ASE, but on ASA the only time we go fob anyone is when those people are meshing us.

The return on invest with raiding is just nonexistent now and since most other tools for raiding other than soaking have been made impossible its not even fun in the process.

Because of all of this nerfing the best dino for soaking just makes the defenders advantage even bigger.

The issue with cavebuilding is majority of time you have no way to counter being locked in. You end up running out of resources. Majority of caves get wiped easier than land bases your limited. Especially with x6 Jezz

Don't know if this is for the pvp or pve chat so I'll put it in both. what's the most effective way to farm blueprints on OFFICIAL X1 PVP SERVERS? I'm NOT looking for expensive ascended blueprints or mastercraft blueprints, what I am looking for is good cheap journeyman or apprentice saddle blueprints above 85 armour , armour blueprints above 900 dura, or weapon blueprints above 200 damage. I've tried snow cave and swamp cave on the island server, probably ran them more than 200 times with not the best luck. Best I found was 70 armour jman carc saddle bp, 93 armour jman stego saddle bp, 85 armour jman theri saddle bp, 50 armour jman quetzal saddle bp, 236 mastercraft sniper and 240 mastercraft comp bow that was a bit to expensive for my taste, and ramshackle riot shield bp. I've also tried to fish with a ascended fishing rod and Honey and leopluradon buff but don't seem to find any saddles above 60 armour same with weapons, I don't seem to find any weapons above 180 damage. I feel like I'm doing something wrong since I keep seeing trade discord servers trading really good cheap blueprints which I doubt they are spending days and weeks looking for blueprints. If anyone has any solid advice I'd highly appreciate it. by the way if you play on unofficial servers id prefer not to hear your opinion since official X1 and unofficial servers are completely different

Ocean crates on center or desert drops on scorched for mid tier crates. mid tier loot is also found in purple/yellow crates in rad zone on Ab and caves, the good loots on the surface. but the caves on other maps usually have higher tier loot which you don’t want. It’s not unheard of for 5+ people to run a cave 20x+ each for one bp, sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don’t. It’s really just a matter of rolling red crates

The only reason orp even had a pop before was because it had people who are overly attached to their dinos and afraid to lose it so they exploited with an ally tribe. It's a survival pvp game, you don't get to choose when you can get raided. You want to be able to set your own raid time for 1-4 hours? That's not enough time to push a fully/well built base, which there will be plenty of due to ORP. You want to play PvE most of the time and PvP when you feel like it. For having posted this almost a year now, you seem pretty passionate about it. Why don't you get all your orp buddies together and host a server from nitrado. You'll get just the experience you're looking for.

Sure, a well built base can't be wiped in 1-4 hours if it is defended well enough, but you can definitely get to a point in that time where it is very punishing for the other person to log off and deal some serious damage and push up your fob when orp timer is running, then resume your attack the next time they are required to get on because of the raid interval/if they log on in general

This was already happening without any raid interval, so with one it would be very easy to do

PVXC > ORP … The one thing from mobile worthy of making it to PC/Console is there PvP clock style servers. The PvP zone moves every hour, splitting the map into a clock with 24 zones spaced out so at any location, for 2 hours you will be in the PvP zone

Orp could be added the similarly to the way eve online works with citadels as eve is the most similar game to ark pvp (interchange ark servers with eve solar systems, dinos with ships and bases with citadels)

basically the structure in eve can be attacked for effectively a 1/3 of it's health offline before it reinforces. Reinforcement makes the structure invincible until a set amount of hours during a window of 24 hours prechosen by the defenders. In terms of ark this would be weird to implement as. What do we define as 1/3 of a wall or towers health? Overall bullets to soak? Overall structure hp in an area together? It's important that the attacking team gets initiative benefit as defending is worlds easier than attacking. How will reinforcement work? The turrets need to shoot as cheesing the usual orp is too easy. Could be increase dps for reinforced turrets and or increased structure damage resistance. How do we define a base? All tribes structures on server? An area centred around some kind of structure that defines a singular base or wall (like some kind of orp tek force field?) it should be limited to one orp module per map per tribe. One wall or tower chosen to be protected.

furthermore, how do we stop orp being abused to just transfer loot as raiding online almost always guarantees all the good loot being ported. Could make it so that all transmitters of a tribe that has a reinforcement timer active or vulnerability window activated from a reinforcement timer are disabled aswell as tek teleporters not being able to function for dinos or players with over 20 slots of items combined on them. We have to make it fair to raiders who now have to raid during a defenders most convenient time window.

Serious problem here cryo ball situation needs sorting ASAP. How does it seem legit that when defending your own base ie in cave that you have your Dinos but can't use them as as always enemies nearby we'll oviasly if we're getting raided. There's gona be enemies there should be no limits too throwing tames out if defending your own base. No wonder the game is dead. Best change once extiintion is out as its stupid. Spend months too build up just too get cave wiped in hours. 6x damage needs changing also as every other tribe mega only build in caves the time of building on land has gone no one does it as turrets do little damage the mechanic is messed up it's not balanced correctly turrets need too be more as people can breed 1000s of tames but you only have 100 turrets in one area but if people want in there gona get in.
