I'm still kinda new to breeding dinosaurs but I have a question. I have a huge breeding pen of females with no mutations and want to breed to increase health and damage. Due to the chances of stats being passed down, am I better off breeding strictly for melee mutations on one dino then breed another with health then in the end combine both dinos, or is it best to just take the mutations as they come and take the extra time for both stats to be passed down with a new mutation alongside it?

I’m not sure.
I’ve not explored many mods, but Dino depot has been useful and you do still get the XP.
One of the things I’ve been doing to try and upgrade the veilwyn adventure percentage is leaving some megatheriums breeding and then just pressing “kill all” in the terminal for an XP boost.

I'm playing on aberration and trying to tame a reaper. I saw a 150 queen, it came after me so I tried to stop it's aggro as close to where I found it. Hi all. I am having trouble with my Linux cluster.
Every time I restart or update. I lose a combo between what is on my character, saddles on my creatures, resources, items etc. all the way up to structures.
I do perform manual saves before shutting down the servers and wait several minutes.

I'm on an unofficial cluster. Someone asked to use my oasisaur to revive a dino. Lost colony had that update and the servers rolled back a few times. Wasn't collecting meat when killing wild dinos, spyglass mod wasn't working, other mods weren't working, couldn't transfer things out of my inventory, then when I did it appeared as if they duplicated. Dropped anything else that wasn't transferable. Tried to move from Lost Colony to scorched earth to help a member and I can't stay connected on neither my PC or ROG Ally. Dumped my inventory, respawned, uninstalled mods...same issue. I keep getting a black window with the message "Refreshing Ark Inventory".

if ya have Bob Tales, ya can do it using the Megalab to which there is currently a bug where if ya babify a creature, the value ya revert to to will have its imprint adjusted with it

as far as I know you can only loot cursed items, no crafting. You can only repair them in the blood forge.

• CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K  
• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti (upgraded from 3070 Ti — only hardware change)  
• OS: Windows 11  

**The Issue:**
Ever since I swapped to the 5070 Ti, ASA crashes to desktop every ~5 minutes no matter what I do. Game ran perfectly smooth on my old 3070 Ti. This card cost a fortune and now the game is completely unplayable.

**What I've Already Tried (Didn't Work):**
• Analyzed crash logs with Gemini AI and followed every suggested fix  
• Disabled Frame Generation in-game  
• Verified game files, reinstalled shaders, etc.

**Question:**
Is this a known 50-series driver fuckup with ASA? Anyone with a 5070 Ti (or 5080/5090) found a reliable workaround?

**Potential Fixes I've Seen Mentioned (Planning to Try):**
1. **Driver Rollback** — Use DDU in safe mode to nuke current drivers, then install older ones like 576.80 or 577.xx (lots of reports this fixes it for ASA)
2. Update motherboard BIOS for better 50-series support
3. Disable Resizable BAR (ReBAR) in BIOS
4. Turn off Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows
5. Double-check PSU cables / power delivery (5070 Ti can spike hard)

If anyone has this card and got ASA stable, please drop what worked for you. I'm desperate as hell here 😂```

It turns out somehow, the GPU was disabled by default in the Device Manager- which might also happen to other cards. Go the Device Manager, Select Display Adapters, Pick your GPU, Right Click and go to Properties, and if it says "Enable this Device", it's not already enabled and should be.
