I normally call the wild pair Wild F/ Wild M then the first non mutated matched stat pair I call Base F/ Base M then for the mutations its for example a health mut would be H1 F/M and so on a so forth

I am at a loss I have tried everything at this point i have uninstalled both the game and the astearos dlc and reinstalled both I have made a new charecter and i have reinstalled the server on nitrado. I am still getting the issue where i load into the map I have my charater no invintory and there are no dinos on the map anywhere. also about a min or so after i load in it says disconnection from host.

you can also tame yuty's with prime meat, grab 2 low lvl yutys and use their eggs for extraordinary kibble farm which will work for any dino wanting kibble

No it's probably right lol. If you have a decent tame, dead island is an easy place to tame a Rex. It's full of prime meat but you gotta clear a l9t of ads and you will want spike walls or something to protect it

The beach by the mountain across from that island also tends to have Rex's around and is pretty chill

My base is rather large and just recently I removed a small building (top tier of a 3 tier structure), but when I went to fill in the 3 square gap I get the message “can’t place, too many structures”. 1. Make and join a single player Astraeos game

2. Turn off the clouds and fog
   (R.volumetriccloud 0 , r.volumetricfog 0 )

3. Exit game and go to join your Astraeos map normally
   ( I had to do it twice )

Might take a time or 2 but it does help bypass the freeze/black screen

Anyone ever found a fix for the awful screen jittering caused by them ninja adding Nvidia Frame Gen back into the game on 1/31/25? Still unplayable for me. I paid for a game that I can't even play now after all this time. Really feels bad.

For wild dinos you can find up to lvl 150 for wild tek dinos it’s higher. (Wild tek Dino’s currently only available on ext). That’s Dino’s you can tame btw. There’s still Dino’s that can exceed lvl 150 that roam around inside caves that you’re not able to tame

If it shows no Dino on map when you search for it with the gen scanner then you’ll most likely need to kill a lot of Dino’s in the area it normally spawns to force spawn it. I find that the northern part of the snow biome spawns in more manas than any other areas within that biome

It will if you have the right food in the maeguana inventory and the nursing is enabled…and they are in range (inside the range). Unfortunately I’ve noticed maeguana issues but have been told by the creator it’s a skill issue so 🤷🏽‍♂️ they don’t want to acknowledge any issues with it if you experience any.

ASA is an extremely heavy game. ASE was already heavy in the RAM part. ASA is even more so and then added ontop is graphics using VRAM which consoles share between RAM/VRAM.
it having 10GB of shared memory makes ark a horrible match up. the series S is made for games that are CPU and storage speed not memory and GPU.

I only ask because you didn't wrote what caused the crash and because the reasons for these crashes can be many. It can be the game, your computer, etc.
And that's why it's difficult to figure out how to fix it in the first place, because they have little to no information about the isse itself.
So simply calling for a fix is basically useless.
Wildcard would have to guess what the issue is. So dont wonder when there is no fix for your issue.
But i hope you get the problem solved soon.

Not all mods were updated by the creators after the major game update of 1/31. Get rid of all mods and reinstall your game. Do not download or reinstall any mods, try to join a server on a clean reinstall of ark without any mods first, if you are successfull , do one mod at a time, if you find a broken one remove it.. not every mod is fixed to work with the big patch.. mod rule.. less is more..

To add to Kristine’s reply, you can also wait for 2x then get a gas mask or two, a megatherium and a broth of enlightenment. Then you’re going to go into swamp cave on the island, consume the broth and kill everything in there with the megatherium.

Another way is to go into gamma spider boss fight and only kill
The smaller spiders that she drops. Let the timer run down then kill the boss. Works well up to around lvl 131

Same issue on regular PS5. I can play Astraeos DLC single player for maybe a maximum of 30 minutes before I crash. Typically occurs after opening inventory a few times. Can't quite pinpoint the exact issue but it's easy to assume that it's something with the inventory.

Not unkillable but lvl 1 is a glitch and in Dino's levels are not distributed like evenly which is why you can get better stuff from areas. But it sounds like you just found a close to max level with more points in its HP. I could be wrong just a thought 💜

The only reason I even suggested that is I use one of my boss rexes with like the 1300 and higher melee. On meat runs, found a tp that took like 3 hits lvl 75. Normally I 1 hit everything of that type.

Hi Skittle, my partner is having the same issue trying to join my unofficial scorched earth server, every time she tries to join it blackscreens and goes straight back to xbox homescreen, have you been able to join any unmodded servers and join at all as we have tapered the mods down and re added etc and nothing seems to fix it :S

I've got a bit of what I think may be a niche issue and I dont think there is a fix but im going to ask anyways. The event stuff you learn in the smithy is causing me problems on the unofficial server I play on. Everytime I learn something, my inventory space goes down by a lot. as in i can only carry maybe 6 things plus the armor I wear. The server has a few mods and I have a bunch of premium and free. My holiday folder and all the dear jane skins disappear often, too. When they are gone, I can carry more, but when they come back I can barely hold anything. Im at a loss as to what to do

That might be part of your problem, some of the mods are broken. you will have to remove them all and try them one at a time to find out which ones are causing your issues.

I was able to log in fine until I think Thursday and then it refused to let me transfer to Astraeos and slowly stopped being able to join other maps too. Only fix I have found is to uninstall the add on.

I dont know how these things work but the latest version is 61.31 and that’s on my Xbox but the unofficial servers are all showing as 61.29?

61.29 was also a minor version so maybe the 61.31 fix didn’t get pushed out properly?

I had to uninstall ASR after the big update with Love Ascended and Astraeos. It crashed my game on load. I couldn't even play on my single player maps. I'm not sure if it will be updated anytime soon. Now I'm having vanilla structures disappear after placing them, and that has nothing to do with ASR now.

Ok, it appears to be something with Astreos completely. We first tried uninstalling all cosmetics and disabling dynamic downloads, then tried uninstalling mods - nada. Finally, he just uninstalled Astreos from his Xbox X, restarted and he's able to play ark on every map. He tried re-loading Astreos and it immediately started kicking him back to main menu again. So it's either the map or the skinset with the Astreos. At the moment, he can play Ark, just not Astreos.

if you mean a world not loading, there is not really a fix for that. severely limited memory is easily exhausted

dont use memory-hungry mods, dont build highly complex bases or keep too many dinos in one spot
