I'm trying to use the console commands on the Xbox for ASA to have boss completion with the Tek engrams unlocked. I've looked up the phrases to input this and I'm in single player. I'm trying to learn how to do this for a friend cause twice already when we map flipped on a private server her character glitched out and it got destroyed/disappeared. This is the 2nd time this has happened and both characters are gone, I'm hoping the console commands will catch her up both in level caps and Tek engrams.

right now the defeatboss command is not giving the engrams at same time in ASA. I have to also do "cheat GiveTekengramsTo 123456789 tek" as well, and then replace the tek at the end with "dedi" or "binoc" or one of the others that was missed. Unfortunately, I've been unsuccessful figuring out what the magic word is to get the sleeping pods engram for folks, we just have to keep doing beta rockwell for them. Getting really good at doing all this because since the last major I'm helping one or two folks a day rebuild characters who have lost their profiles...

in my case its because their bad implemented and (since a while) not fixed feature called "Frame interpolation". Disable it with the command "r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled 0" and try it then.

Ok that's what I thought cause I spent 3 hours last night trying different combinations of the command code trying to figure out if I was doing it wrong or something not going through. Been respawning and bed jumping to refresh the character, still nada. I'll give the Tek unlock a try, at least that'll give a backup until the "DefeatBoss / defeatbosses" gets fixed.

I know one of the YouTube videos recommended spawning the boss in the open world and then use the kill all creatures within X-amount radius. Problem is that person used 5000 for the radius and I need know what would be appropriate size number for shorter range use and not nuke your tribe's tames.

It is against regs to block a spawn point and is a wipable offense. If you are on unofficial, check the discord for the cluster too, someone there may be able to help. Or on unofficial, if you have a teleport remote from a mod will get you out of their base

They haven't done anything to ASE in months. The issue is you will have to find a server that has no mods because the ASE mods load through Steam. I know the folks on our cluster who had Epic second accounts on official are not able to load them on our unofficial cluster for that reason. Can you play single player at all? If not, I'd invest the $15 in a new steam account and then find an unofficial cluster out there. Most of them are pretty low population. I know we have hardly anyone playing on our ASE because everyone is on ASA

have you actually downloaded those maps? Those are not considered "custom" maps any more, but were free DLCs and required downloading the additional maps. Remember if you have all 12 maps it takes about 400g of space on your hard drive

Probably. We did a heck of a lot of trouble shooting on our cluster with the folks that couldn't load. 64g fixed everyone until this last patch. Then we started having issues from folks who have older GPX. Those with a Geforce 3060 or better are doing ok, tho if only 8g ram on the GPX they time out sometimes. Anyone with a 2xxx series card is crashing. Anyone with an older PS5 is crashing too

I mainly play SP and I like keeping event Dino’s for aesthetic purposes around the base. Murder turkeys, Santa’s big helper, etc…. But when I remove the mods I lose those creatures even tho they are “tamed” (I’ll force tame a few just to have around to look at. Lol)

Hello all! I dont play ark too often, and have never seen this happen. Just to clarify we are still playing on ark survial evolved. I went to launch the game today and noticed that all my settings were reset. I fixed them and started to load the world, long story short my game instantly crashes, "the UE4 shooter game game had crashed and will close" is the prompt that comes up. Ive verified the files of the game (steam) and it is still doing this. Was wondering if anyone would have a solution here? Thanks:)

Thanks for the input. I've had this issue since the major patch on 1/31. Usually only occurs when fast traveling or using a TP and relogging would actually fix it. But now it's constant and always present. Seems it gets worse with each little patch they do.

If I do that, it is on the PC with lower ram on the gpx. usually if I log out immediately and back in it will then load with all her armor and the whole base around her as well. We have other folks on the cluster who can't get on at all, mostly with less than 64g ram or with older gpx. Also folks on console having major issues playing at all, just crash immediately upon loading. Best suggesting is filing a bug report and then wait and hope.

Hey Ark has issues in non-English versions (esp. French): dino names are mistranslated, fishing UI text is oversized, making it unplayable, and some elements show code lines instead of text/numbers. These bugs have been there since launch.

we're not playing with mods, and loading into a Singleplayer map on The Island is really quick honestly, not even 30 seconds. We can play other games like The Forest and Minecraft just fine, this problem is only persistent on Ark.

It's always on PrimalGameData_BP for like a couple of seconds and it loads the bar relatively well, then it goes back to the sessions list and just fails to connect with "connection timeout".

I just reset my modem and disabled all 3 domains on my firewall briefly to try and join but it's just not working.

@silver osprey Likely the bed is under an overhang. Part of mesh detection prevent you spawning there even though the bed is not in the mesh.

Oh your characters are gone. If you transferred and they did a rollback or turned off transfers while you were transferring it deleted your character.

I am trying to place a chair inside my base that is inside the cave by Fertile Lake on AB and it says "Cannot place object here" or some such message. If I take a pillar outside of my base I get the same message. It is like the devs made the cave a no-build area since I last placed anything, which has been a week or two.

removing the saddle from it will destry the egg for sure.

I have never heard of this issue before, i know sometimes it showes that the egg is ready before you can hatch, this happens when the egg is at 99.5% incubated. So the 0.5% are not showen and take depending on the type of egg sometimes even hours (carcha/gigas in 1x), but for an anky during 2x event its weird that you had this issue, even if there were at the beginning of tring 0.5% missing, after all your tries it should have been ready.
