I logged onto single player today and decided to mess with skins (Fear Ascended live, don't judge me 🤪) but when I made it around to dumping the bones in the smithy and crafting the witch hat nothing happened. I used 70 bones to craft these hats but nothing? So.. are they hiding? Since skins UI isn't quite as user friendly as before I'm not sure if I'm just missing something or if this is a bug. but still i couldnt get access to tek suit ( it was completely blacked out) and other tek items had the red number, when i learned engram red numbers went away, when i closed inventory the red numbers re apeared, never actually giving me access to tek items to use them ...

What level is your character? Might be an issue that you went into a boss fight wasn't high enough level to actually enter and you didn't receive the tekgeams

i believe i figured out why aberration, extinction, the center and for some ppl every map is crashing when loading in singleplayer, i just deleted my ab save and went back in, i decided to go creative mode and fly around the map, trying to fill up the map marker, i crashed like twice, the 2nd time i crashed was when i was 95% done filling in the unexplored part of the map, and the amount of creatures was at 8,000
and it was the fastest time my game has gotten to the point to crash when load
so i think the problem is either some maps can't handle the amount of creatures in them, or the more you explore the map, the less stable it becomes until it crashes and when you try to load in, it crashes

So you have 30 days x 30 times (%) which is 900 days which is about 2,45 years or roughly 29-30 Months

At least that’s how I understood it, unless it’s full buff after 30 days and not 1% after 30 days. Some ppl said couple times it’ll be 1% pro 30 days.

Well, I cant say for sure. But I would be concerned with Christmas and Stacking items of those 2 mods. I turned Christmas off and stopped using Stacking or structures like Visual Structures, especially considering how every patch wrecks my unofficial server so I fight mods consistently.

I like them. You get primal crystal by tranqing crystal wyverns and stealing them. Kill them after you take the crystal if you do that, but I'd personally just tame them with regular crystal

In Steam, left click on the game in your list of games on the left, then go to properties, then go to installed files, then click verify integrity of game files and it'll start verifying them. It may take a little while though

That's a known bug and it's only visual. The level will likely appear normal to other players and should fix for you if you relog

If anyone has this issue, try and get a 2nd cliff platform under it, so you can build off the edge slightly to place things. Once placed, you can remove the cliff platform from under it. This works by raising the ground height so you don't get the "Too high above ground" placement issue.

It seems the edges of the cliff platform don't have the raised height, so snapping to the edge of a cliff platform is a bit iffy.

yes, the longer its up the more bonus on EXP/Taming speed you get so must keep tributes in at all times for fuel. at first only EXP&taming speed goes up and my guess boss element buff comes after both stats are at max (20%) my tribe only got it to 10% at the moment

We are a bit desperate here. We play Ark Ascended on a server with friends on PC (Steam) and we played The Island and Scorched Earth and until about 3 months ago Aberration without problems. We had a break there and wanted to continue on Ab now and do the caves.
Suddenly one of our friends has huge fps drops, the characters seem to vanish for split second sometimes and inventory loads slowly and drops the fps.
We already updatet the GPU Driver, reinstalled, the game is on an SSD, we actually had a brand-new one, used the old one, even unplugged the new one and so on.
Did the Extinction Release make the game much more hardware-hungry? Anybody an idea what happened?
It all worked fine before and now it's unplayable for her.

FPS are around 20. But the graphics card seems to be bored. Even with every setting turned to minimal.

The game worked fine before.
The character isn't missing in hte inventory, the characters are glitching while playing. Like, when two characters are on screen (second-person-view) they just flicker and vanish for a splitsecond.

Yes, we did. The Island was a bit better on single player and fresh save and we reinstalled and verified the files and stuff but Ab on fresh save and single player had the same problem

it does depend on a lot of things....but if you have a balanced build like : RX6600 + R5 5600 then you will be GPU limited more times than not

Guys, i really need help with one big trouble. So trouble itself that i have played on my extinction local game (on steam) for a long period of time and i saw only 1 giga, which despawned after time. I`ve tried many solutions: i did dino wipe 3 times, i did spawn clear arounf the giga spawn area, even added a stroke in the game.ini file, but i still havent seen any single giga on my map. Also i want to mention that i had an xbox local game file on extinction too, and i saw a giga there, saw a giga which didnt wanted to despawn. So i want your help, hope you can provide a solution how to do natural giga spawn on my local file, is it a bug or just chances? Hope somebody will help me with this.
