The Krampus and Gingerbread GFI dont work ingame on private servers (I downloaded the mod INI and checked the UASSET files which you can turn into GFI, the santa costume works using this method but these do not) They did this last Christmas event and the ONLY way you could get this was having a club Ark server.

Since the extinction update I have had FPS drops at different times of the day in the game. The FPS drops every time from a stable 70+ (no framegen!) to almost exactly 40 (stuttery) and stays there for a while until it briefly get up again later, only to drop again.
This was not the case before the update. Not fun, 😦

Tamed a doggo (came out a lvl 181) after dealing with it's glitched taming mechanic, just for it to be instantly swarmed by other doggo and die before I could even interact with it.

Gives you mistletoe and coal that you can drop in front of a gacha claus and they will give you a crystal. Just make sure the gacha claus has crystal on their back. Can't tame the gacha claus so make sure you drop one mistletoe/coal in front of it at a time until it drops a crystal. Gives you festive dino candies and other holiday goodies like trees and lights.

There's quite a few, the best thing to do is go to the ASA wiki.gg and look at each map, it will tell you what new things have been added, what is DLC and what is free. You have the fantastic tames, the free creatures, and things like the armadoggo and the robot butler that come with BTT. Each map under the wiki will break down which is new and what map they appear on 😄

The issue with battleye error is that when you are loading your mods it will freeze your game and battleye cant log in without your game being unfrozen

Everytime I try to log in to a server, it goes to a cut-scene, my computer freezes for almost a minute, then the cut scene plays, then it freezes again, then sometimes I get into map & sometimes the game crashes .. is there any way I can skip or eliminate that Winter Wonderland cut-scene? For the black screen flickering issue and 0 ping issue on Ext, this worked for me and yesterday I could finally join the cluster I play on: First I checked if I could join with my girlfriend's PC and it worked, so next I logged to my steam account on my girlfriend's PC and join the server from there with a new character, stay there some time and kill my char a few times, when I logged in from my PC I had no black screen and I could see my character but still kicked back to menu with 0 ping, so after the server was saved and restarted I could finally move and play.

If you have no other PC to do this, I also managed to do this with a random ext server doing this exact method but instead of using another PC I used Nvidia Geforce Now on Free Tier.

It's a chore and not sure if it will work for everyone else, but it did for me. And yeah, only with a new character, couldn't download my leveled char on either PC.

About to jump into extinction from my main official pve for the first time. Can I transfer stuff on to? Or is it set to only transfer off?

Problem: Cant select any boxes in menus or in game IE (Show Password protected, play servers, and in game check boxes for SCS and similar.) I have to click on it, then hit enter on the keyboard to select/deselect items. Mouse and driver are fine and working as intended. This coupled with the cant access inventory bug is trully annoying. Anyone have any fixes?

Ever since upgrading to better graphics, the one thing I miss is when I was resource farming the resources would "dissolve". Now with better graphics the trees fall, rocks shatter into pieces, etc.

Otherwise river run on Abb with any dino that can tank/dmg it's way through up to the bottleneck and you'll get a few hundred if you farm that section for about 30min

Create a new character, grab the survivor number id from your implant. Create a ticket with wc asking them to track your lost chars. They'll get round to it, may take some time. But they can show you all your survivors/what servers they are on. Can throw ya a list of them.

Without breeding, you want high level dinos with good health and melee. For breeding it's a lot more complex. At a beginner level, you can just breed the rexes that have the highest health and melee stats and keep any babies that have health or melee mutations. There's a cleaner way to do it, but for your purposes that should work fine.

Are you seeing any high level anything? Did you set your difficulty above the standard setting? If so, you can kill low levels to try and get higher levels to spawn.

Yeah it's the same thing, I would recommend looping through the bay near 25 55 and just killing rexes there. Should save you some time if you're able to get there.

The southwest and east sides of the inlet have lots of rex spawns

I was playing Ascended last night with no issues on Xbox Series X, then this morning I figured I'd give it a try on cloud gaming for PC cause I was curious. That loaded, and still loads, just fine, but it didn't have any of my mods with it.

Now, when I try and load the console version of the game again, it opens the app, and goes no further than the logo/splash screen as if it freezes. I sit there for minutes waiting for it to change, and it doesn't.

I wonder if the two are related? I play with a few mods and can list them, if needed, but I don't know if that's what the issue is or if it's Xbox itself. I can load other games just fine.

I have a save for every map except club ark, but my main map is Extinction now with Aberration and Scorched Earth as my secondary. The other saves are essentially empty, and I use the island to test if my mods work.

I did a lot of item transferring between maps. This is all in single player btw

load back into xcloud and load into the island. that should update your save and might fix the issue

xcloud isn't that good for modded since you have to install them each time (reason why I asked if you had a map without a save)

I loaded just fine with xcloud and loaded up the island with a new character. I did the 'saveworld' command and then exited the world to the title screen, then closed the app.

Nothing changed for Xbox. I still only see the title art before the game actually loads, with the two rexes fighting

install the mod "Dino Retrieval" and all your dinos can be summoned using the terminal, no matter where they are in the map, as long as they are still alive

you can try deleting the user data (mods won't be effected and as long as you delete locally it'll download from the cloud)

I can only see it happening a few times online and only fixes they list are hard restart (hold power button) and reset console 🤷 but even then they say it wasn't fixed.
only reason I've seen it in ark is a cloud save issue.

Hello I just defeated the brood mother in gamma and beta and when I returned to base to try to craft a replicator I couldn't find it in my fabricator crafting side looked at my tek grams and while the picture is filled in it has the red zero on it. I tap x and it goes away however it still won't appear in my crafting menu and if I close my inventory it will make the red zero reappear I tried just leaving my game making sure my mods were updated but it hasn't fixed it, I'm going to try and just completely closing the game then reopening it to see if that works

reinstalling stuff will just about never fix anything except corruption/misconfiguration, by brute force. battleye timeouts usually happen when the game is loading too slowly to be playable (on a hard drive or really bad SSD / too many mods) or the server is having performance issues

if you right click while on the site and click print or control+p, you can actually copy it there xD but gotta do it little by little

the mod uses default settings automatically, adding them to the ini is an override. only override settings you need to actually change. that is why most well-made mods dont automatically create ini entries
