so either it is the map causing you to crash, there's a structure/creature in render that causes crash upon respawning, or your character is bugged. i feel the best solution would be to reinstall the game, but if it's a server, maybe see if an admin could manually kill your character if you had respawned then crashed?

What? The game with the latest AMD graphics driver? Not sure. With rolling back the driver to 23.7.1? As soon as you install it, restart, and spin up ASA and try Abb in Single Player, you'll find out.

Hi a friend of mine (isnt in server). They say they keep getting "connection timed out to host" and didnt have this problem before.

Have them wait 10-15 minutes before reconnecting, or have an admin manually kick them. Also, if there are mods, have them make sure that they are updated. Curseforge seems to be having some sort of weird issue for some people currently.

official vanilla? all they can really do then is wait 10-15 before reconnecting, as if they try reconnecting before, it won't let them in because their character would still technically be logged in.

if it keeps happening, kill their character and and see if it lets them reconnect.

*curseforge is the mod... provider, that's where the mods in the mod menu come from.

There's a mod you can install that might help "Custom Dino Levels", equalizes the levels from 1-150 so that mobs aren't all on the lower side 90% of the time, and yes this is an ASE mod

For anyone having lighting issues around trees or grass, the issue is entirely on the Lumen engine's side - disabling parts of Lumen has actually made my game look better and reduced (or completely removed) the flickering on trees.
r.Lumen.Reflections.Allow 0
this will disable Lumen's reflections especially on surfaces like metal walls (such as aberration's portal area)
r.DynamicGlobalIlluminationMethod 0
this will entirely disable Lumen, the flickering will be gone completely, BUT your game will look flat, however if you don't mind it, it definitely removes the annoying lightshow.
If you choose the nuclear option, the 2nd, it will be much darker during night so be warned

Alright I fixed my old issue, now i have a new issue, my community has a dedicated ASA Server that just got transferred to Aberration, However, and ive tested this wityh other servers aswell, for some reason i cannot connect to any of them, i can load into aberration just fine one single player, but i get a connection error every time i try to connect to an unofficial/dedicated server

In Video settings are you Native? if so you will notice Resolution scale is much lower.
Either bump that up to 100 or switch to DLSS that will handle that for you

Im not sure if this is the place but it seems like it. Im having trouble with imprinting, I have five recent ones, it started with not showing the imprint progress. Then now I see this message and cant do anything, never seen it before. It just says "Stegolas wants care from Katy". There is no button prompt or anything, if I push E and get the radial menu it says the same in RED and I cant do anything there either, I have a screenshot but it seems those are disabled from posting. I cant progress with these. I have done everything, I have restarted the game, reinstalled the game, reinstalled the computer even(I was going to do that anyway), nothing works. Maybe with the update and the new breeding tools something has bugged out. I use the Gaia: Potions mod in single player a lot. You can feed a dino an imprint potion. It helps when you are adjusting your settings but dont want restart from scratch.

Yes it seems that way. I am very set on not using any other mods with this one. It does not like other mods at times it breaks different aspects of JA when another mod is introduced.

I will simply give up on these dinos. Try to adopt a new one, or see if I have two dilos that can breed perhaps. See if the problem remains then. Because this is a problem with five dinos at once, they all have the same bug.

I really want to disable it because my game runs better with it off. I actually found a solution that lets me open the map but it is unplayably laggy. If you go to the launch options and type "-dx11" without the quotation marks. When I did this I loaded in for a few minutes and only a few textures were loading so I tried to move around and when I moved the camera it just crashed.

You'll need to exit and reenter - then switch your settings from "custom" (or epic) to high, then back again - for me it cleared out the fuzziness but it still loaded the textures slowly

Been an issue forever yeah, you have to turn your resource respawn radius all the way down (like .1) and the respawn timer likewise. That'll make stuff instantly respawn around you as you mine it. You can try the repairarea command (I don't remember details) to fix already bugged areas but mostly it's a matter of NEVER logging back out until resource respawn timers have passed, or the game forgets the timer was ticking

It's probably a mixture of that and slow texture loading - I know that's what's bottlenecking my quality at the moment

I get that error when I try to open the map and the only fix I have is the launch option "-dx11" HOWEVER for me this causes a whole load of other issues like missing textures and other crashes

Honestly, I was expecting it to be really dark with more emphasis on player based lighting rather than bright with ambient light all over the place. An emphasis on being underground with an absence of light, which worked in the original ASE, I just expected a deeper kind of dark, y'know?
