you should not be updating a driver at all unless it is broken, underperforming, or insecure. dont fix stuff if it is not broken, especially with how often broken drivers are released, including by nvidia

not worth battling windmills, though. if the crash is from a driver malfunction, it should be fairly evident in the error codes

Hi, my friend and i are trying to play on a non-dedicated instance. We are playing this map called The Center. We have theater set to 99. Previously in the island map, he would be able to go into water without getting teleported to me, but in the center map he keeps getting TPed to me anytime he goes in the water without me, no matter how close he is.

you did what, exactly? showed last? explain? if you are deleting game files, all that will do is break the game and require you to reinstall/verify. you have to delete the savefile if it is corrupted. it could be only one part of the save, but the error does not indicate which savefile

you can back up the save before messing with it, then try each part (ie, the map save, player save)

I logged in after the last update and it told me I was dead (I was not) with a 30 minute deathtimer. After respawning I had a 30 minute timer before it would let me TP as well. I have done everything from killing my character, restarting Ark, and restarting my PC. I still have 30 minute timers. Completely unplayable.

Is anyone having issues changing Mating interval timers on unofficial? I have set it to pretty much every setting I can think of but it won't reduce the interval timer. This actually works with ASA? It didn't with ASE. Me and my friends tried to do this and it wouldn't work with ASE. Some games it would work but some games wouldn't let you family share on official servers and what not.

I was wondering what constitutes a “good” wild stat and I thought I’d put this question to bed; so I did a statistical experiment. With a sample size of 1359 I used the rand() function in excel to approximate a distribution of stats for a wild Dino tamed with kibble near perfectly (lvl 222). The results were that each stat averaged 37, with a standard deviation of 5.6. This means a stat of 44 is at the 89.436 percentile. A stat of 48 is at the 97.5 percentile and a stat of 50 is at the 98.956 percentile.

Following the law of averages, this means any wild tame that has a wild stat of 26 or more it will likely tame at or above the 37 point average if perfectly tamed. Happy hunting.

ive never tried it that high but the beacon program i use has not been wrong before so i believe it, you might also want to think about changing the mating intervals too using that high a setting , as ure still gonna have a long cool down time between dinos being able mate

Hi everyone, I have a problem with boss trophies on PS5. I had a save where I acquired all the trophies, but I didn't receive those of the 3 bosses, the overseer did, in all 3 difficulties, I was advised not to use the console and so I did, but I didn't get the trophies I still got it after several resets of the game too. I uninstalled Ark, cleaned up the saves and started a new game without even enabling the console, but when I reached the first boss I still didn't receive the trophy. yeah, that is the skylight (ambient light source) not turning on properly for some reason.. you would probably need a custom mod to fix that. really bizarre that it would only happen as a host, though. if you have a decent system, you could just run a dedicated server locally, it is way, way less buggy in general

i would go poke around the abb source code, but it takes a good hour to load up 🤷

the UX is a bit wonky. first you have to respawn to get the templates to show up in the cosmetics tab. those are used for some, but not all of the cosmetics though. for hats you have to select a hat in your inventory and press triangle to cycle through them. for mickey/minnie it's the same but on a chest piece. for the structures you select the template in the cosmetics tab and cycle through with triangle.

If it's still not allowing it, might be your firewall on your computer or you didn't port forward correctly (Not all the ports you need to forward weren't forwarded or you're forwarding to the wrong local IP address/computer)
