Steam\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\Windows thats where you will find ur Game.ini file long with ur GameUserSettings.ini file. you have to go into the GameUserSettings one and add "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5" under the section called [Server Settings]. you join back into your SP world from th main menu under "resume or create game" where you then will see 2 orange buttons in the bottom right, click on the one saying single player

yes sir, turning off frame generation does seem to solve the issue for some people. That fluid interaction disabling seems like it works specifically well for people using 4090 cards.

memory capacity has no effect on performance unless you are running out, like 90%+ physical memory usage. a GPU that weak is going to be the main performance limit. if you are running out of memory, use pcpartpicker.com to compare prices/availability. that CPU uses LPDDR5 memory, if it is in a normal laptop

When using a gamepad, the inventory folders in crafting reset every time. Like if I have a folder open and I’m crafting something..leave and come back..it resets to non-folder view with everything expanded. Works properly with mouse.

running into a lot of obnoxious bugs, a fix to any of these would be hugely appreciated:

-Literally all UI elements in menu randomly become completely unusable and uninteractible until full game restart
-Server list appears to show different servers every time I launch?
-Favorite servers do not show up in the favorite tab
-Graphics settings including display scale and various quality settings do not persist through game restart, meaning I have to set them every time and even then the display scale seems to keep resetting to 72%

The UI bugs when u open the config, if u want to use the commands console u will have to activate on advanced setting and use it pressing escape. The servers just search for its name on the searcher and the rest have no solution i think.

Yes, so for the Island for example the saved files are in steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal there is LocalPlayer.arkprofile (which is your current character save) and LocalPlayer.profilebak (back up from your previous play) and TheIsland.ark (current save of the the world) and TheIsland_01.08.2020_09.20.00.ark (exemplary date, but there's also saves from days before). Make a back up on your current files and rename the 2 auto back-ups.

I actually did something different and it seems to have worked, I went into MyPaintings and moved all of those files out of that folder into somewhere else, verified my files and booted up the game, seems to be working so far but we will see

all my paintings on my canvas' are gone now though, oh well

Anyone having issues with mobile taming pens? Where it works, you trap the dino, you knock it out, and you start moving the pen. But then as soon as the tame completes, it teleports all the way back to where you picked it up at originally. It's happened to me 3 times, once on raft, once on paracertherium platform saddle, and once on motorboat.

The one on the paracer platform saddle was a passive tame (chalico) and even it teleported back to where I grabbed it as soon as I gave it it's last beer.

I already told you, noone can really tell you why your ping is the way it is. What youd need to do is ping different services and maybe traceroute paths. But as long as youre using cable and your ping is constantly this way theres nothing anyone can do.

It wont let me launch the Join Game option from the main menu. It pulls up the server list and says no sessions found and closes it self to main menu immediately.

Only thing I know that half fixes it is going to the install location and going into the binaries folder, right click both the .exe and check the run as admin in the compatibility tab

hey a word of advise in case your ever in my situatuion on ASE if you cryopod a dino then upload that cryopod in a terminal and then take it out from the terminal

it will be the same kind of dino but it will be differnt colors and its level will be set to level 1

also you lose the saddle, i had to learn this the hard way to maby this helps someone else so they dont

There still are crashes and stuff but i don't freeze just by playing the game. WHile playing diablo 4 i noticed my game freezes the same as ASA is, just stops responding. So i decided to install an older version of a driver. Specifically 537.34. I am now able to play. I sometimes crash if i open settings using ESC but i don't seem to be crashing just by entering in game and looking towards trees

I will check Fluid interactions if it's off and then check drivers version, although I only have issues with ASE, no other games. I can play Diablo IV just fine

I have had both fluid and foliage interactions disabled for the past 5ish days. Still get the crash when inventory closes just as frequently. It may help reduce/resolve other crashing issues, but I was never experiencing those so I cannot comment.

Yh bleed attack hit them w bleed run away until bleed is over repeat over each bleed is 5% of its health I think so hit it like 19 times then make sure to finish it off without bleed cuz ion think you get the xp then

Wireless crafting works after you get Tek dedicated storage containers. Once you have those then crafting stations with wireless crafting turned on will pull resources from those containers.
