Its the engine not using the memory properly its not that you run out of memory, when it needs to write the memory into your ram it gets access violation and hence why the game stops responding cus it keeps trying to write indefinitely

Technically he needs to load the mods before he enters into your server, if he clicks on your server and doesn't load the mods before it starts loading he can know its not working

Because the higher their health pool the quicker they die, and i'm talking about ase also, with daeodons you can heal dinos that have lower health pool quicker but if your rex has 30k hp he still heals same amount but is losing more due to how % burn works, hence they die quicker.

Deinos have a different type of bleed tho they do not take % health but rather their bleeding scales with the amount of hp that the dino has, its still almost as good but needs constant applying to work cus you need 5 stacks to have biggest amount of bleed

Does anyone else have this game breaking bug where shadows become stupidly dark? Even in the middle of day, after some time playing the game, lighting will start flickering in and out of being normal and being compeltely black and you can't see anything. Logged into my "nitrado" server today after the steam update, No one can claim hatched dinos or wild babies anymore. I once had a 3 person pve server where we played not insane amounts, due to things like school, we went for alpha on every boss, going for max level, but after the 3 years we played it, we only got to 2/3 titans on extinction, able to kill desert titan, and only having 1/10th of the requirements for king titan. Yes generally this is the case, but i had made him eat 5000 narcotics 20m before the restart and 5m before he was full torpor so i don't think it could have gone down in a few minutes

dont keep a giga at full torpor. once it hits full it starts dropping

let it drop to 1/3 and then pump 300 narcotics into it. as long as the torpor is rising it wont drop

if you keep topping it off youll end up wasting dozens or hundreds of narcos

Thylos are mainly in like the middle of the trees so as long as you don’t fly to close or walk to close to the tress you wont get dismounted

What is your GPU? AMD does this a lot, something about their drivers disliking any kind of particles and hard crashing in super demanding games. One such game i found that does it very often is Ark. Now the cause is not the GPU itself, but the power supply. Its quite complicated really xD A fix is done via undervolting and underclocking your gpu to relieve the stress from the PSU. Problem is its gonna kill your Power supply if you don't do it as well so be careful with it.

Dinos dont auto harvest when you ride them, its either a bug or something special about baryonyx that i dont know off

Dinosaurs don't automatically harvest resources when you ride them by default. Instead, you need to manually use their specific attack, right-click or left-click (on PC) or the equivalent button on your gaming platform, to harvest resources from the environment.

They acknowledge that there are memory leaks and issues which is causing 95% of all the crashes reported here. And they are working on it. And there were improvements. My sessions have become longer before sth crashes.

I know that some crashes are related to temp issues. RAM seems good to me though. For me it starts to crash if I get close to my 16 GB RAM limit (so at around 15).

U can try to increase your virtual RAM that seemed to help some people
