This is because the nanite water rendering REQUIRES something like TAA to render right. On nvidia cards this means turning on DLSS and setting a superresoultion setting to anything other than off.

There's a few things that can cause that. Have you messed with console settings or graphics settings via .ini? Do you have an nvidia card? Are you using frame generation?

I thought the crash on character creation bug was fixed- and for me it was for a bit. I was able to load onto a server, make a new character and spawn with ease but now whenever I try and join any server I crash on character creation again. Client side means the game. The game client is telling your GPU to do something so dumb the GPU crashes in about 80% of the issues I've seen on here.

ASA runs like total crap right now. Must games don't make your pc basically run at 110%. I'm not saying your comp is bad per say, I'm saying I think the badly optimized game is making your computer unhappy. The two insta shutdowns I am very familiar with in IT is voltage instability or thermal protection. You shared your specs yesterday so unless your power supply is somehow bad, I'm guessing it's tripping on thermals. You need to watch max cpu Temps.

So, TIL that the sorting headers actually work... they are just mixed up for no reason... When you click on "Ping" it sorts by the current server days elapsed. when you sort by "day" it sorts by ping, and when you click on "Sort Order" at the bottom or "players" it does what it is expected.

well, goto the laptop manufacture's website and look up the model number and make sure you have the latest videocard drivers, update windows and try and launch the game and turn all the settings all the way down to start. then if its stable, bump some textures up and some of the various settings, including resolution until it looks as good as it's gonna get while remaining playable

I was just having intermittent network issues, and it was acting like a webpage not being able to refresh because it wasn't connected. It was because my router had a pre-configured port forwarding routine for some old servers i had hosted back in teh day, and ASA was using them for query ports in the first few versions. It fixed itself with updates and i also for good measure deleted the traffic rule

No, its an issue where memory of the game spikes drastically and something happens that the game hangs permanently and doesn't continue, now for some ppl it causes an error because it crashes the driver and for some of us that our gpus don't recognise asa as a game yet it only hangs and doesn't show an error

Your server either hosted or ran yourself will auto save in the interval setup in the .ini files - default Nitrado is 15 minutes.

But I have rented a Nitrado server and a friend of mine who has joined wants to use admin commands in order to edit the volumetric clouds on their end.
Unfortunately the console command line will not show up even though they reset the keybinds and all.

Is there a known way to let people use the command line on servers or am I missing something possibly?

Has alot to do with the enviroment your in and whats around you as well, areas like the swamp especially are definitely the higher load areas, im in the hidden lake at the moment

Hello, has anyone a good hint what I could try to solve constant crashes with the fatal error message?
It is not even possible to get the error in front of the screen to take a screenshot and I need to restart the PC, because it is impossible to close the game otherwise

I tried freeing up a ton of memory (over 140gigs), cleared my cache, verified game files, & even moved the game files between my hardrive & memory card.
