How come the t rex we breeding they legit have the same stats but health values are extremely different on some of them?

for example this rex has 35 base health then 36 into health, 30 base attack 25 points into attack and has the following:

22200 health 600% attack and then the other one that has these exact stats above I listed at the start of my sentance will have like 21500 530% attack

In general though you stand there, and face it. Do not go twards it, and do not turn away from it. It SHOULD land and begin walking to you, again dont move or turn just wait for the prompt

I tried some more babies and got results. Desmodus can die in the maewing regardless of blood being in their inventory before being put in the basket. Desmodus can die by themselves even if they have an inventory full of blood bags.

Looks like you're right and I'll have to just go with meat only from now on 🤡

Someone else had said about it wanting to eat all the food once you come back into render. Current theory is that because blood bags have a consumption timer they can't be spam-fed by the server loading their chunk

Compared to rust the ark server browser is so bad

the browser just doesn't show every one. rust has the same issue just easier to join via IP with the ingame command. while in ark you'd need to start SIngleplayer to use that command.

non-dedi can transfer like singleplayer can (as in just upload and download on the other map)

only the host should upload dinos/cryopods/eggs

otherwise they can lose data and reset to level 1.

by default the level cap is only the max 254/253 in every stat. unofficials would need to enable the cap to have it go lower.
if that isn't enabled then there isn't a reason to min-max your dino stats.

Husband is mainly handling this so I may have to update/ edit this for clarity later tonight if it's not clear.

We bought the expansions, and for sake of this example we tried Scorched Earth.

We are using the same computer he plays on to host the original " The Island"server, which is fine and works.

He can start up the Scorched Esrth Server, have them both running, and log in on single player. I can see the server on a server list when it launches before I go into the game. If I try and go in I get a fatal error.

If I try and transfer over once I'm signed into our base server, it won't show it as a server in our cluster and I can't search it.

Thoughts? Assistance? Prayers? Exorcisim?

I’m having a little bit of difficulty with planning breeding my boss teams on single player. I’m trying to decide how many mutations to aim for between hp and melee on the Dino’s, but I can’t seem to calculate what the melee will come out to.

The stats on the fandom pages will let me calculate everything else, but they don’t show what the base damage is as a % instead they show what the base damage is in terms of the damage they deal. I’ve tried just assuming this number represents 100% and doing the math based on that, but it’s wrong.

I’ve also tried using dododex’s stats calculation, which also suggests the melee’s base value is 100% with +5% per wild point, but this also doesn’t seem to accurately reflect what I am seeing.

The numbers are wildly off too, I was using dododex’s numbers just for comparison purposes between Dino’s I tamed to track which was higher with an estimate, but I found one that this resulted in estimating it had 58 wild points in melee, which I know is not possible as it caps at 55. Then through breeding that one and using an incubator, I determined it was actually 40 wild points.

I really need to pin this math down cause I need to know what the resulting melee will be if I, for example, breed a Rex with 180 wild points in HP and 181 in melee and 0 in everything else. I know it will get to level 362 and have 40700 hp, but I have no idea what the melee will be at. So I don’t know if that’s the balance I want to go for or not.

Genuine question, how much health and melee should I have for alpha broodmother? I'm going in with 19 megatheriums and a yuty. I'm smelting my last bit of metal right now to make them saddles (I have a 181.6 armor BP) (note that difficulty is set where max level for wild dinos is 300 so I assume that affects boss stuff too) or is this all just major overkill at this point? I play on ps4 so I tried spawning one in and it says 125.8%, but I ran the numbers on my other rexes to see what the wild points add to it, and they are off by about 0.1 from each other. a little tinkering in asb, the 122.1 is with a taming effectiveness of 80%, the 125.8 is for a 100% effectiveness. dododex shows a perfect tame is 97.2% effectiveness, which gives a value of 125.3. this base however is for ones you tame. bred ones will have the base of 125.8 however.

The world itself isn't corrupt, the character is fine. The only part that corrupted (I think maybe that's not the right word) is the map history. All of my maps appear unexplored. My dinos, bases, and character are all present and fine. It's just that I logged on and suddenly all my maps were unexplored. I was hoping there was an admin command so my mini map will appear explored again - I searched for an answer and didn't see one, here or on google either.

hey guys - I have a problem with sound - theres the menu music/sound when I load but as soon as im at the main screen, theres no more sound in ARK. This includes when I load into a game. No background noise, no player noise, nothing. I've tried all the usual fixes - validate, reinstall etc nothing is working.

You can use '0' on the numpad to change the follow distance of a dino you're looking at but unfortunately this picks Group 10 at the same time. Regardless, pressing any number on the numpad twice and it will cycle between Tame Ordering Group number and 'None'

'None' means the whistles apply to all

Try adding cheat before it, if you're on singleplayer it should not be necessary though.
