not well tbh, the burn has a cap of 100 per second on carnivores and 80 per second on herbivores, lasts for 6 seconds so the burn only deals a max of 600, which is decent for early game but quickly becomes useless later on when you can just use a primitive pump action shotgun and do 644 per shot. Also the burn damage doesn’t scale with weapon damage either.

Then one of them got rest points into mele but second Dino dont increase mele stats ( he is under max lvl and still have 40 stats points to add ), all other stats adds without problem but mele just dont consume stats points when i want add them.
Both Dino are identical. Same parents, same stats, just like clones.

Your not making yourself easy to work with. Even from the start at copy and paste the error you've met me with yeah buts. I can't guarantee I know a fix for your issue. But I often find it easier to start at the bottom and work up. You'd be surprised how many people think their tv is broken and all it needs is to be plugged in.

Verify my files is a safe first step for most issues. There was a patch send out for PC 2 days ago. So given you haven't verified since it would be a good idea to try.

I feel that. Overall it sounds like the servers your trying to join may not have updated to the latest version that came out late this week. But I can't say for sure at this point.

It's equally as possible your client isn't updated, the mods aren't updated, it could be windows itself, or even your driver's.

Yea, scuba mask lets you see farther underwater. Like, a lot. If you are out in the deep parts you definitely want one if you don't have a tek helmet yet. As for 1st/3rd person.... that's really old info. You have the reduced FoV in both now, but also the increased viewing distance.

i need to defeat the alpha megapithecus, but i can’t get the creatures to do it. i know what levels i’m supposed to be looking for, but i can’t find them. i have a level 285 allo and a level 215 rex (the rex was gonna be better, but some sabertooth tigers hit it while trying to attack me when i was taming it). i can’t find any rexes or allos actually worth taming to give them mates. how does everyone else get such high level dinos? i’ve done laps and laps and laps around the island’s mountains and the dead island, killing the low levels as well as things like carnos, brontos and other things like that to try and reset the spawns, as well as resorting to using the “destroywilddinos” command multiple times. my difficulty is at the highest setting, if you’re wondering

Kind of. Mixing stat mutations in a line causes issues. Having a mutation doesn’t guarantee that a baby will inherit the stat. So if you have mixed health and melee, then get a melee mutation that you want, you’ll have to have inherited both the mutated health stat and mutated melee stat for the new mutation to be viable.

There’s always a chance to inherit the females stats. I believe it’s 60% to inherit the higher stat between the male and female. So if you have melee and health mutations on a single line, you have to inherit both health and melee from the mutated male to achieve a desired mutation. If you only have one stat mutation on a line then that’s the only stat you have to inherit.

The Dermis of non-tameable creatures only display on their native maps. Therefore, creatures like the Broodmother cannot be displayed on maps like Aberration or Ragnarok. Transferring Boss Dermis to another map will erase the contents so that bringing the Dermis back to the original map will not restore its functionality. Transferring a Dermis to any map, even if the new map also has that boss fight, will destroy that Dermis.

Just looked it up, on the wiki it also says its regarded as tek tier. And if it was stone tier, C4 should totally make short work of them.
As Tek Rifles have bonus damage vs all tek structures, its pretty well suited to destroy it therefore.

Actually, i just went to SP to test it, 1 C4 does 788 damage to a single cryofridge (attached to it) thats exactly the same amount of damage it does to a tek foundation.
Cryofridge has 20k HP, Tek foundation has 15k, so you need a lot of C4 to blow it up.

A prim Tek rifle takes 1 element to do almost 10k dmg, so you need 2 elements to shoot down a cryofridge, its WAY faster and more efficient id say (same as for tek structures generally)
same tek rifle only does about 1.3-1.5kish dmg to a metal foundation btw, just as comparison. So its 7-8x bonus dmg vs tek structures

I run a dedicated server on my PC and have my main playing acct on XBox. I have a player who also plays on his PC. We use the Microsoft Store version for the PCs. While on the server "world" we can not seem to be able to use creative mode or any of the admin "cheats". Do they work on a dedicated server?

We can access the text box, but the button only says "admin request". When i type something in and hit the button, nothing happens. Creative mode is checked on the server settings. I have set myself (on xbox) and satyr (on pc) as admin. Am i missing something?

Are you sure you are hitting it when you bite?
Tamed ones will definitely damage turrets on official, so you are either on an unofficial that has this disabled or you’re doing something wrong somehow (though I don’t know what else it could be, other than bad positioning and bites not registering)

Eh not for that error. It's most likely due to joining a server with mods and the mods either being removed locally or becoming out of date.

Since you did the verify files but and that didn't help then it's time for the not so fun part.

My suggestion would be to unsubscribe and remove ALL mods from your ark folder.

There is a pin in this channel on how to fully remove mods.

Once removed try and rejoin the server.

I’m very lost, I’m raising a baby tropical crystal Wyvern and usually they don’t eat until they are an adult but this one’s dropped to 0 hunger and is not getting any benefits from anything I’ve fed it

Does anyone know why the deinoichus climb dosnt work anymore? It can latch to walls but it won't go higher, and if it does it just drops off the wall

Well I'm trying to climb a mostly flat surface on val and it won't go higher than 1 jump, I remember it working well a good time after the map was released but now it's not working right

or if you are good enough get the tiny things with funny looking heads and tame one and itll grab the egg without agroing the wyverns
