those are way more efficient at healing than forcefeeding the rex

right now, you have access to daeodons, which consume an absolute shit-ton of food

still probably better than forcefeeding though

if it's your server/singleplayer and you're willing to cheat, you can also just do cheat refillstats while riding it

By server admin I ment the people who you rent the server from. If you do rent. Some hosts may not allow download I'm unsure.

And no, you wouldn't transfer the same. You would want to force a server same, ensure that the player data and map data are as recent as possible, lot in to the ftp, download the files, then replace your current save game with those files.

We've tried letting the dinos eat them. No harvest in dino inventory and no backpack dropped.

We've tried killing them and then looting the corpse. No heart in corpse inventory.

they should drop 1 with every kill so either something bugged or the dinos just aren't taking the item in and leaving it in the giga's corpse bag

Then it sounds as if both your primary save and your backup saves have been corrupted.

Keep going down the list of anti corruption saves and bringing them to your main save folder, if there are more, until you find one that loads

Ideally this process is best done after unsubscribing from mods and removing them.

Sometimes after patches the mods become out dated and can cause corruption

Go into Ark's data folders, find EOS_SDK.dll or whatever it's called, and rename it to EOS_SDK.dll.bak (or just delete it, either works). This will completely remove any trace of Epic's malware from Ark, so long as you aren't trying to connect to an EGS player's server.

You really can't. You can eat the body with a giga or wyvern and the bag might fall where you can get it if there's an open space below. But there's no guarantees there. If you're on SP you can ghost into the wall. Or if you're using S+ you can use the transfer tool

Best mod for this purpose that i know of is "Death Inventory Keeper". It keeps a log of the last 100 or so (configurable) deaths by an player in the server/world.

it keeps inventory on death by default, but that can be disabled by putting [DeathInventoryKeeper] DisableItemKeeping=True in your gameusersettings.ini

death list is accessed by putting scriptcommand death archive into the console

In the future, try not to transfer dinos through the dino tab unless you’re transferring to/from a non-dedicated server to help crashes

Can anyone help me with clusters? I have two servers (The Island and Ragnarok) and they are both online. I can join them individually from the start menu but they don't show up in my list in-game at the obelisk/supply pods. They are password protected and I have that option checked. one thing you can do for hunger is to get a few dodos for eggs, then make the basic kibble in large amounts

if you'd prefer to ditch the pig and keep the heals you can replace the dinos (rexes I assume since most use them) with theriz or rhinos or stegos, all of which can eat veggie cakes which heal a significant amount

either way it just takes a bit of prep/recovery time

This is how singleplayer works. Singleplayer only loads in the area around you, so to the game the artifact on the other side of the map doesn't even exist so it won't respawn. One way is to go near the artifact area and wait for it to respawn, or you can launch ark with -preventhibernation, search this up if you dont know how to do it. But there is no perfect fix for this issue. I recommend just paying for your own server if you want to play alone and have the money, or play on other dedicated servers. On dedicated, performance is better (unless theres a lot of people) and many issues that people face in singleplayer aren't there, like crashing and resources not respawning

Forgot to say, -preventhibernation makes your game load in the entire map, as opposed to only loading in the area that you are in, so it puts a big strain on your pc and makes the game laggier

That doesnt change the fundamental issue that island has shit levels, even if there were 40 megatheriums at a time they would all be likely low level, and dino tracker s+ cant find dinos outside your immediate area bc of a thing called hibernation..

hibernation causes only the area close to you to be loaded, so essentially anywhere far from you does not exist so tracker cannot find dinos there

They don’t have levels. They scale according to difficulty, but there are different tiers. Gamma (green) is the easiest, Beta (blue) is medium, and Alpha (red) is very hard.

if in singleplayer, you should be able to use a cheat to teleport out of the arena.
It happened to me on official - group of us started tek cave, after the door closed, got the 'server restarting in 15 minutes' announcement...long story - 10 people ended up in the boss fight room, but no boss...myself and another couldn't use the teleport to get up - so we walked back up to the cave door in the volcano - we all put gear into the dinos and kill ourself...put in tickets to wildcard - no response - after 8 days all dinos died and gear lost...rip gigas, rex, yuti etc.

It’s needed by some mods to work properly if I remember correctly, here’s a short description of what it does, Preventing hibernation fixes resource and dino respawn bugs, and allows buff-based mods (that apply their mods only in specific circumstances) to work, allows the S+ dino finder to work properly, and I do highly recommend running with the launch paramater. It also increases ram usage quite a bit, but is very much worthwhile

hello, I am new to ark and playing on a friends unofficial server. I was just wondering if I should be finding rare dinos like gigas or carchaos "easily." I looked them up online and people seem to say they spawn every like 10 minutes or something, but Ive flown around the 5 mountain tops for at least 3-5 hours and havent seen 1 giga yet

Gigas are pretty rare on the island. You might have to kill everything you can find in the areas and come back later to see if one spawned

Sometimes gigas can take longer than that. But yea check after 10 minutes, kill more stuff. Rinse and repeat until you get what you're looking for.

With that mod if you put 4 S+ transmitters next to each other powered by an S+ tek gen, there's dino locator option. It shows all the wild dinos on the map with their level/stats and coords. Makes it easier to find that kinda stuff

So I’m trying to make a line of tek Rexes capable of soloing bosses, and I only have 3 with good stats, with the 3rd one being the kid of the initial pair

The one I tamed wild was somehow able to kill Megapithicus on beta will almost no help from any other Dino

So my dino commands don't work. Whistling "everybody follow me" means no one is going, whistling "neutral attitude" means all dinosaurs are still aggressive. And they beat everything around. I can't play normally help!!!

for a simpler trap design you can set up a few behemoth gates in a line, with a door at either end. lure one into the trap and close the doors on it to trap it

it's simpler but you're more likely to get hurt/killed while closing the doors, especially solo

But I do have to warn that if you later re-enable hibernation (remove the launch option), it can cause crashes. This seems to be able to be fixed by launching with certain launch params and dinowiping, but I've not run any save like that for an extended amount of time so I can't say if it's 100% effective in the long term or not. You'll need to add it to the steam launch paramaters- Right click on ark on steam, properties. Add exactly this- Hyphen included: -preventhibernation
It also increases ram usage quite a bit, but is very much worthwhile

I have no clue.
Auto Engrams has an optional config, that if you set it to True it unlocks all Engrams when you reach max level.
Unfortunately, this config isn't working anymore.

This part of the mod isn't working anymore.
It broke after the Fjordur update, due to an ARK bug.

So, this mod does not unlock any Tek Engrams.
It works great with normal Engrams.

Could anyone help me with a problem with my battleye? Everytime I load up my main server i get kicked out asking to install battleye. I've clicked "install" maybe 10 times now and its a endless loop and never goes away. Last night I was playing for hours no problem and then get on today and this happened

Manually download battle eye from the be website and replace the one in your ark folder

Always backup first tho.

If that doesn't work

right click ARK, Go to Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files.
From there he wants to go into his ShooterGame folder -> Binaries -> Win64 -> Battleye.

Right click the BELauncher file, open with Notepad, and set the "PrivacyBox" number to 0. Save and close.

In the file it should now show:

I’ve spent like 5 hours trying to find it but I’ve recently found a command that would insta teleport me to its location and I’m wondering if I should try that out. I’m just not sure what would happen if it doesn’t exist currently on the island.
