I like ark pvp, as a concept. But I HATE it in execution because the games design and construction is too broken, ark pvp is all about numbers. Who has the most members, most op lines, most farmers to grind gear that’s super expensive.

Well, yeah breeding is a big part and some people take it a bit too far.. but there’s lots of fun to be had experimenting with the game in ways you can’t in pvp, like boss strategies, colour breeding, Player economy exe

Yea, it’s also not in the best interest. Because Pvp requires you to play by the meta, because ark’s core game design is pro-toxicity and very aggressive to its player.

The biggest mistake for me, when it comes to ark pvp. Was making explosives and means of raiding as cheap as they are. Raid tools should be the hardest thing to farm in the game, and turrets should’ve never been added.

You don’t need turrets in a game with hundreds of creatures.

Pvp is interesting for some people, pvp exists because if ark stays pve everyone would leave because just breeding over and over again is boring

Turrets are also there since dinos just cant defend by themselves since dinos like gigas and wyverns could just go in and kill everything

I would legitimately play pvp, but as a solo. Virtually no point because ark’s pvp scene isn’t competitive and has no skill gap

Kinda, the only downside to no water is more hands on management, but really if you have a good argy. Fill it with water bottles or canteens and you can get away without needing water. For a farm though, forget it you need irrigation

There is a cave where I never have to worry about that. At worst an Argie was at the entrance

Pro tip, for your first desmodus just go for a super low level, don't bother manually farming a ton of blood packs. Once you get the first once you'll be able to get blood packs like crazy, hundreds in a minute, so taming a high level will be much easier

You can do that regardless of oxygen, since scuba tanks drain dura based on time and not how much oxygen you actually take in. higher oxygen means less time putting your tank in and out of your chestpiece

at full dura, a primitive scuba tank takes 30m to break

i mean if you have the mindwipe tonics you can pump some oxygen but there are better alternatives. you can try lazarus chowder and putting a tank off and on which is a lot better than pumping oxygen.

though if i had to answer the question, around 300 oxygen should be good enough so that you dont need to take your tank off and on every 10s.

another dino good underwater similiar to the bary is the sarco. it goes to insane speeds underwater and regens stamina near instantly underwater.
