Around 40,40 on lost island there is a crystal deposit that shows 2 oil rocks right beside it. I was just there and I can see the crystal deposit, but don't see anything that looks like the oil rocks. It's near the trench. Anyone know if those 2 deposits are inside the trench?

If u leave the render-distance of it it should survive. I had a situation where we had to leave our best spino in rock-drake nest cuz it was low on HP, we come back and it still survived even though he was in area where they spawn

Yes that's the point. if you get knocked off, disabled, main mount gets killed you got several dinos with you backing you up. I wouldn't normally travel with a gang of spinos. But a gang of carnos is absolutely fine.

Simple answer is don't rely on a single mediocre dinosaur in aberration. I solo'd that map for weeks. It's a recipe for frustration. Once I started breeding carnos and got like 20 melee mutations I could pretty much just rampage through the map.

Most mods don't print their ini to the file in order to keep it clean of clutter, you add settings you want to change off the defaults yourself

Once you have a drake you don't fight anything unless you want to. That's the whole point of a drake. You can avoid anything that is remotely dangerous and get to where you're going. If you're taking a drake into situations where you can easily get killed, then you're not playing well.
