You use gasoline to fuel machines like fabricators and generators, you make it with oil and hide in a forge. If ur below the fabricated tier (around lvl 50) then its not too useful for you yet

Read the values going up the verticals. There is 10 points between each. So of your point is halfway between 80 and 90. The vertical reading will be 85
