You can’t health tank the Dragon. Their burn debuff does percentage-based DoT that ignores all armor and resistances.

You need glass cannons. Creatures that are almost entirely built towards raw damage.

if ya get a low level Female Rhyniognatha, there's a chance that the baby will inherit a stat or multiple from her instead of the host

and yes, the mutations on host can be passed down to the baby

Yes it does have it's loot crates, I've looted them. But the cave ones also count as "city" ones and they count towards that mission.

I'd say the game is executed well for long-term investment (comparing against other survival games, most of which rely on randomizers or mods to prolong longevity where ASA has enough of vanilla to push further and expand upon before mods are "needed"). It does need tighter load meshes for caves (Island: Looking at you, tek cave. Looking at you, southeastern cave audio aboveground).
Immediate gratification, I don't think was considered in most cases. Which is a per-user basis of feel. I'm happy with the time it takes to do things. Raising timers are fine until rates are switched without warning, as there's multitudes of things that can be done in-between.
There's more than enough settings to personalize your experience should the official WC server's vision not fit your desires.
WC has given us well more than 90% of games on the market in terms of optimizing the game for our systems.
WC has not given up on fixing what's broke, we just need to deliver those bug reports in a civil manner and realize that every bug has it's own priority (Saying "lmao game bad/dead" and "Waaahhh not working waahhhhh" is not how you do it)

So I'm very confused. Every time I punch thin air in ark since I first played ASE, and now in ASA, there's blood splatter from my chest, and I take damage. It might only be tiny damage, but it's damage. I just asked the people on my server cluster, and they say they don't take damage like this.

Why would this only happen to me and happen in both ASE and ASA on servers and in Single Player, but not happen to other people when they punch thin air? It makes 0 sense. It's as if the collider of my character that is used to work out if a punch hits something is bigger than everyone else. So when my fist reaches maximum distance, it is still inside my hitbox, and I'm effectively punching myself. But that makes no sense when it carries across multiple Ark games, multiple online and offline and the like and only applies to me.

Hmm fair. At low level it can cause issues or with high damage I guess. With 2000HP on current server punching myself for 0.1 or 0.2 damage a punch isn't anything major haha.
