Do all astraeos servers go offline(crash/network problem?) several times everyday ? Because Astraeos 6008 is not healthy anymore, everyday dc like 2-5 times a day, ranging from 15m-1h , longest was like 3h (just that one time) iirc. If you check in 7-day-uptime in Arkstatus, it is only 93.5%, last week was 95%. It's getting worse and worse. I have reported it to ARK Survival Ascended Official Server Outage Report but so far NOTHING. It seems to only care about how long a server goes down at a time and not its continuous online time or uptime in a time period like 7-days. Good thing we have monitor site like Arkstatus.

im not sure where to put this but we have a nitrado cluster and last night and this morning we have gotten stuck in the 'loading' surviver download screen. MIne eventually popped up after about 10 mins but another tribe mate has been sitting in that screen for ages and has restarted so many times. the servers been reset. Im not sure what else to do, Any ideas? Is the only option to load a back up save?

You are correct. It still for a great cause and lets be honest. Everyone knows the servers were a mess last time. They probably wont do 2x because everyone expects it on weekends. While i think the comunity was genuinely more involved for extra life its a worthwile cause regardless how they do it. Besides we can get some dlc that is hopefully decent

Fun way to kill a giga, get it in a trap, and get 3 pyromanes. Just jump back and forth from side to side,switching the pyromane each time so you don't need to wait for the flame leap cool down. Damage stacks, 1 leap was 31 damage a tick, after back and forth 371 damage per tick, but the tick kept resetting each jump through. Chewed him up fairly quickly

nah my issue is that it is 'complete' out, but its impossible to have a foundation floor and in many cases ceilings that uses both wedges and squares, as they went and did completely different textures on them and it looks dumb. ceilings and foundations square and wedge should always use same texture style and provide alternates as variants.

This Astraeos 6008 server is so unhealthy, here's its stats according to Arkstatus :

  • Rank 1406 of 2755 (I dont dare imagine how bad rank 2755 server is)
  • 7day Uptime : 94% (it was 98-99% the very first time I joined)
  • Total Downtime (7 days) : 13h 47m
  • Number of Outages 27 times (this gets worse recently, before it was max once a day every several days)
  • Downtime Rate 6.3%
    The server is down right now that's why I have time to qq here.

Yep but I want the reverse, it sits on your back and passively gives oxygen while allowing you to swim much faster in water. It’s weird to handle and clunky in the water when you ride it. It also cannot be ridden on land.

Rex are pretty average across the board but they hit consistently.

Theris are good because they can heal with veggie cakes.

Megatherium can obliterate the Broodmother and are average everywhere else.

Allos are ok if you can’t find good rexes, easy to transport and have a pack buff but aren’t super strong.

I assume Deinosuchus are good because of their extremely powerful bites.

Deinonychus when released can shred bosses with bleed unlike other boss fighters but have very little health.

@heavy cedar, we trying to get all Boss dermis, Heads and Flags at the Moment but its still very sad that you can't Take any Heads of the "throphi" Heads. Wouldnt it be possible to make them that you can Transfer them but when you do they Turn into a cosmetic Item and you can't use it in a Boss. 🤨

Anyone else having issues with non dedicated servers?

Basically, I'm hosting a server. Have my s/o who is right next to me, and I invite to the server because he cannot join on his own. When he joins, he has to rejoin many many times in order to get his actual character with his actual items to show up. Otherwise, I can't see him, his body is still unconscious on the ground, and he can barely see me.

After rejoining, it fixes itself - he just had to rejoin about 6 times and it finally actually worked. Any ideas? Or atleast a direction to a channel I can report the issue to Wildcard?

I know this channel is for ascended but I reinstalled ase and I used to play on Xbox, then I swapped to pc and played ase thru game pass. I finally got ase again for steam and I just cant get the game to work. I loaded into a server once after messing with the game for 2 hours and then now its messing up again. The screen freezes on the title screen sometimes, it freezes when I try to load into a server, it freezes when I pull up the server list.

When you say he was unconscious did it say “unconscious” next to his name? If yes, then he was in game, he was just knocked out. 6 times is probably just coincidence that thats how long it took for him to wake up. Like if he could see you, then that is probably the case. Normally if they are “sleeping” they cant see you and they wont appear there for you as theyre not logged in

Guys, does anyone know how to properly remove mods from my ASA game? I have 4 mods installed and only use one. Every time I open the game I have to way 2-3 min because apparently it is trying to update those three unused mods without success. But the "mod list" in the main menu never loads and the active mods list in the maps options does not have a button to uninstall

I have no access to uninstall them from the UI. The Mod list does not load and its buttons don't work. Even if I go to a particular installed mod and use "mod info" to open its page and access the uninstall button, it won't load such page.

I think I found where they are "registered" in the game, it's a file with a JSON listing all mods. I will try just removing them from that list except for the one I actually use.

Poekilopleuron is a fairly small carnivore. About twice the size of a Raptor, it is quite easy to take down. They reside on beaches and in forests, hunting small creatures. It is quite smart, despite its small size. It hunts mostly at night, when its prey is asleep. It can sense when large creatures are nearby, letting it run away before it is killed. It is extremely fast, almost as fast as a Ferox.

Domesticated:

Poekilopleuron is actually quite a useful travel mount. Not very good for battle, but it is fast. It’s a good travel mount because of its speed and its ability to sense danger. I’ve seen it help many tribes transport valuables across the ARK. It has a powerful jump that it utilizes to its advantage by jumping onto the sides of creatures even as large as a Brontosaurus to bite it and let it bleed over time. Its taming process is almost like a minigame. You need to drop meat on the ground near it. Once it notices you dropped the meat, it will eat it and walk over to you. Once it walks over to you, feed it another piece of meat. Rinse and repeat until you have a new best friend.

I have a question about the template hammer as an admin for a server cluster.

If I'm in creative mode, is there a way to place a saved template and basically have the building "instantly" built and placed? Or do I have to sit there in "auto build" mode and just wait for it to build?

My intent is to build a beginner level turret Tower for new PvP bobs to topple, then use the template hammer to plop like 5 or 6 of them down throughout the pvp half of my cluster.

What's the quickest/most efficient way to go about that?

corruption is caused by crashing during a save, normally. so, that depends on how much you intend to crash. if you have working hardware and are not piling on too many mods, it should be rare. bar the xbox series S, since it simply does not have enough memory to ever be stable. you can make save backups easily now on all platforms, as well

Mine too. The majority of our cluster is complaining, few people just logged out. Everything is white washed and reflections are completely wrong. Trees are Purple... It's kinda crazy honestly.

I was so sick of FPS tanking I switch things off like volume metric clouds volume metric fog and two other things and I dropped the grass density to low everything else I don't touch oh and it depends what spyglass your using that can also affect your FPS I've had to tweak the settings on my alfa spyglass to .5, but I find it's too useful to change it for anything else I want to know dinos stats what's around etc but it was showing so many things it wasn't helpful for the PC and I have a good PC

We are also not good so easier boss fight /lezz grinding is good. We like exploration and discovering the many things we have no idea about in this game

Astraeos has a variant of corrupted enemies on an island, also has OSDs there with a wandering KT that spawns every so often.

Rag is less intense in that regard, huge map though, lots of critter variety.

Orbital Supply Drops, basically, you defend a supply pod for loot, it's very much endgame type stuff though, you need pretty strong tames.

Its the simple fact that I bought the game on launch anf could play every day, yes with crashes, but I was able to load back in most the time. Now even opening the server list for crashes my game constantly and thats before even searching up the servers that I play on. Thats my point about having an issue with the game. Ik their track record for game health is kind of a joke cause of the ase days but its never been this bad for this long even when asa first released in its unfinished state rushed state.
