I had something similiar but not the same issue, my game would drop down to 5fps for like 4 minutes and just gpu dump crash after like 5 minutes of playing dropping all the settings to butter graphics let me play for 30minutes but i managed to fix mine by adding a TdrDelay to my pc

People with a lot of Vram don't have an issue i do not have a lot of Vram therefore i have issues in this department

that is a few levels of not how anything works. well, there are VRAM allocation issues, but they have nothing to do with driver hangs. that is basically the GPU going out for milk and not coming back

VRAM is acquisitioned in chunks ark doesn't do a good job and so it grabs random chunks and doesn't check for overlaps so it'll request an overlapped segment of VRAM and Windows kills it for the access violation

ground "loading in" is actually it being generated, ASA uses runtime-generated textures for the terrain. you need enough video memory to actually hold the resulting temporary textures. higher texture quality setting will improve that if you physically have enough

Hello all quick question I've noticed that when playing on Abberation (singleplayer) having Global Illumination quality set to antything lower then Epic causes models of me and other wild dinos to disappear primarly near the Biolum zone. Is there a know fix for this or will I have to play with this setting at max?

I found a hard start way of getting online, but the state it runs at, isn't what I would call stable.
Once you get to the page that will say lack of privileges, spam the he'll out of the a button, it works maybe 9% of the time lol
Then you have to unclick the xbox only servers tab. If it doesn't let you, repeat the first step again. I just managed to get online after clicking faster on my xbox controller, than you had to, to save Meryl in mgs lol

we found that if you start from the backside of the word it works most of the time so like "thatch" start with tch then arrow back and add Tha.... some of the stuff still wont but still it helps a little (especially for naming dinos or searching inventory)

the files for the spawns were messed up for ragnarok and just release a day ago I think so mod authors will soon be able to fix spawns cause tag desert uses scorched earth spawns

I think this is caused by server issues, there was just now a big server crash maybe that's the cause. Try refresh, back out etc, Otherwise if you NEED that option in order to play together and there's no work around for example just joining the same server by name instead of invite then you're basically screwed until it starts randomly working again or unless one of your refresh attempts/game restarts works. These server list and invite bugs have been a thing since the first time ark went live.

For PvE, you still want to progress and expand faster than others to secure land and resources I guess so same reason

We're aware of an issue with seeing server listing for Xbox players. In the meantime, you can uncheck the "Xbox-online multiplayer" box. If it's greyed out, you can return to the main menu then return to the server listing and you should be able to uncheck the option.

By doing so, you will see the servers (they are there, but they are being hidden by that setting being falsely enabled).

For some people the game just runs worse after one of the recent updates, if you go through patch notes there might be something like a recommendation to use an older driver version for the game currently, depends on your gpu ofc
