Watch a video, you don’t tame them, you collect the phermone balls from males you kill, then you bring a passive large tame, and leave it in the open, agro a female rhinio while on a ptera and bring it to that tame, hide your ptera or cryo it, hide under your tame and shoot at the female rhinio until you have it to about 10% health, feed your passive tame the pheromone ball, and when the female rhinio is about 8-9% health, she will impregnate your tame, make sure its health is high, the rhinio baby will emerge from your tame, claim the baby

@proven grove Sorry to bother.Could you please activate the piggyback system in Omega Modded servers?This System ingame allow creatures from other maps spawn into The Island.Because there are only one single map The Island is available in Omega Modded servers.What admin could do is just go into the Omega Dex ingame and click at the piggyback system to activate those dinos such as dodorex or others from other maps.Very easy but important for the mod game.

Hi, can someone help or guide me with a problem I’m having and haven’t been able to solve? I purchased "ARK ASA" through Xbox for PC, and after playing for a while, I wanted to try some mods in Singleplayer. Here’s where the problem starts: some mods require configuration through the GameUserSettings.ini file by adding different lines depending on the mod. So far, so good.

The issue is that when I modify the file with all the settings I want, I save it properly and then launch the game... that’s when the problem happens. As soon as the game reaches the main menu, the GameUserSettings.ini file resets to its previous state, meaning all the changes I made to configure the mods are lost.

I’ve tried many ways to prevent the file from being overwritten and reset to default, but I haven’t found a solution. I know this issue doesn’t happen with the Steam version, but unfortunately, I bought it through Xbox PC, and there are no refunds... I don’t understand what the difference is, since it’s supposed to be the same game. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it. (I already tried setting the file to read-only, but it still loads everything as default, even the in-game settings I had changed.)

marvel rivals is an absolute fucking mess on the technical side. i have not personally taken it apart and cant comment on why lumen specifically runs horribly, though

in general, it is new tech and a lot of developers just turn it on and dont understand what it does and how to tune it to their game. it requires careful management of the number of light sources in the scene, for one. if there are too many lights relative to the allowed raytracing performance budget, it starts to do the "disco" thing you have probably seen on aberration at launch due to not having enough time to calculate them all

UE5.5 is adding a new raytracing mode that should handle scenes with numerous lights (aberration, for ark) with less performance or quality loss, but no word on if wildcard will be using it. it may not be feasible to convert ark to using it for compatibility reasons

series S already has lumen completely disabled due to it's tiny memory capacity and weak GPU, so it wont be a problem, but i am not sure how well it would work on PS5/X. i assume those are using hardware lumen already, since they are RDNA2 GPUs and do have hardware raytracing support

I installed Ark ASA afteer a long time of not playing it.
Im trying to down load Mods through the Ark Mod List in game, But when i click on the Mods list, it ggoes to the mod page,but everything is greyed out. I can type in the search bar but nothing happpens. All i see on that page is the "Ark Mod List" at the top, below that i see Discover, Browse Mods, Installed mods. to the top right i see the Redeem code and Search bar. Below that i see the background image, but nothing else. I have left this open for over an hour to see if it was just a delay of some sort.

I can get into official, and Unofficial servers that dont use mods.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, Verified game files multiple times, and even manually installed Mods.

Im at a loss for how to get the Mods to show up on the mod list, and how to be able to get onto the modded server.

pretty generic GPU/driver crash. a lot of things can cause that. if you are using a pre-blackwell Nvidia GPU, consider installing the v566.36 driver, if not, use the latest. also deleting the game config files from shootergame\saved\config\windows to reset the graphics config may help.

The real life Diplodocus is known for having a long whip-like tail that it used to defend itself and scare off predators. If you play extinction map you can get tek armor blueprints that are in line with ascendant tier i guess you could say. The blueprints wont be blue/teal color but the armor and gear score will be much higher than regular crafted tek armor

Does the bug report not just ask for the server number ? Ie the number in the name of the server ? You should be able to see this prior to even connecting.

I've tried two different officials, an unofficial and it asks for server version number, which I cant access the way it says, unless that counts.

Just thought I would mention it if you missed it but there is a few comments above yours that people have seen a new nvidia driver error causing crashes.

As the the server version just type the current server version should be in patch notes. Just suggestions hope they help.

I am on xb 1s and I notice when I login that the rocks and trees I cleared for for my base are back. They create collisions for a few seconds and then the game seems to catch up and realize that these rocks/trees have been removed and I am fine.

i've said this before and ill say it again Asa needs better performance to run many mods particularly on the console side of thing i am still sure something can be done about that just like the few holes i've gotten stuck on SE near ruin buildings inparticular.

game does indeed run alright with few mods added but even then it can still crash although atleast u can get in game and get some things done in general it has to do with tames/buildings u have as time goes on and the dlc maps struggle worst with performance then the main island map

mods are more memory, than performance. usually. and consoles have very limited, fixed memory capacity (16GB for the PS5 and series X)

due to how ark mods work and how well they integrate into the game, they dont tend to ruin performance directly

perhaps athough doesn't explain the loading in crash issues when im useing mostly creature mods particularly popular ones the island map works with launching but the others are very very finicky with how many u can have on them particularly Abber and extinction, The center are more finicky then even SE crashing on the loading screen and not bypassing it inless disableing many i use a xbox Series X console and i do have a SD storrage device

the difference is computers have virtual memory, aka they use their storage as (extremely slow) emergency memory, and are also not sharing the same memory between the processor and graphics

16GB PC still runs ASA like shit, but it will just lag horribly instead of crashing during loading

fair point Ase is the same i recall back on my old computer, so im guessing u don't think there is a way that wildcard can make it run better with more? cause well with premiun mods on the rise and people gonna of course pay for them what about those factors includeing the free ones? people are gonna have to mix and choose a set and stick with it wich will prevent them in the future for newer ones, mainly of course im directing that at creature mods since im sure everyone gets the main point of the game as tameing is the major highlight

not really. they can in theory (and are trying to in the ue5.5 update from stuff i have seen one developer post in the modding chat) lower memory usage of the game a little, but most of the memory use is graphics stuff - models, textures, actual rendering buffers

only so much stuff can be cut before the game starts to be a complete mess

I am the brother in this situation. It crashes as I login and I see my character lay on the bed, then the crash window pops up.
To add, it also happened when I joined an official server, I wake up, scratch my arm, then crashes as soon as I can control my character.

does anyone elses overseer spawn at gamma despite using beta or alpha tributes, as mine only spawns at gamma and i dont know how to fix it.
