when i went offline last night everything was still there as normal.
i go back on the test server of mine save state by save state. everything is always empty. i've been back for over a day and everything is empty. how is that possible?
i went back to a save state two days ago. everything is normal.
how can it be that on backups that are from yesterday everything is also empty but i had everything normal yesterday.
the server never crashed and only did its nightly restart. (without a problem)

10,500 items apparently within a set area so it is probably the same in ASA so if you're hitting it already then chances are you're putting too much into a small build as our extinction base is huge and we have plenty of "decorative" areas within it

I believe the dragon breath attack does percentage based damage, and does more damage to carnivores. This is why a lot of people use Therizinos with veggie cakes. Personally I haven't used rexes but the yuty we used to boost our Theris got absolutely melted by the dragon

singleplayer ark; what world rules/settings should I use? iirc there was one that limits creature levels to a set number after what it was caught at, but when I last started a world I saw nothing of the sort. Do I just use default?

I figured out the crashing issue is linked to dino depot. Any time i look in an inventory with a balled dino i crash. Hopefully the patch for the game itself fixes it because theres been no change in that mod, was working just fine before.

timing out just means you disconnected before you got in. tons of things can cause that from network to the server being slow to a game freeze.

My Xbox and steam player having same issues couldn't get in all day there main character keeps timing out when loading in. I try to red gun their character so they can respawn as soon as they do it times out. So they each made a new character on the island which is not where there main is at and was able to load in on a different map and play a bit and they went to the transmitter to transfer and when they did they timed out and now they can't log on with character also.

Seems melee scales with pick. 200 melee and primitive pick got 460 ele plus some shards and dust. Apprentice pick 126 got 430 ele, but I also hit it a few times with a hatchet to try so I think I would have passed the 460 from the previous.

So they had an update for console yesterday which was supposed to fix playability on Astreos. I still can't load in. Doing some thinking, I might know what is causing my issue. My raptors both had a trait that I wanted to put on their baby. I GFI'd a gene extractor, and used it to transfer the traits. After logging out for the night, I wasn't able to log back on the next day (or any time since). The only solution is to delete the save and restart. Not a big issue there, because it was a relatively fresh file. Although....if I can find a way to temporarily disable Bob's Tall Tales, it would/should remove the extractor from my inventory (or wherever it's stored), thus hopefully allowing me to log back on ..... This is only a theory though.

Xbox here. Was just online 20 minutes, tried to transfer to Astraeos on our cluster, crashed. Loaded back on island, tried to transfer, crash. Rinse repeat about 3 more times, couple of game restarts and console restarts later, now Ark won't load and crashes with each attempt to login no matter the map. Both on cluster and in single player.

1. Make and join a single player Astraeos game

2. Turn off the clouds and fog
   (R.volumetriccloud 0 , r.volumetricfog 0 )

3. Exit game and go to join your Astraeos map normally
   ( I had to do it twice )

Fellow XBox players, perhaps you can lead me to the answer. We have an Xbox player who made a character, then it bugged, was able to make a new character and it bugged, made another character and it bugged, then another and it worked for awhile and now bugged. I rolled back the server (Astraeos server to the day we started it). They had another character on one of our other servers and tried to move that character over and same issue, it loads Love App but then goes to black screen. They bought the map and downloaded it in case that will be a question. The server is set to all platforms.

• custom dino levels fixes distribution. astraeos is probably already set to rag levels but I add it to all anyway.
• vanilla cryopods have many issues and not much customization. the cryopod mods like dino depot add tons of QOL for breeding, cryopods (UI and settings), even admin recovery if a dino gets arked.
• spyglass mods are helpful for seeing stats tho dino depot also shows them.
• der dino finder is a dino search mod for the map. very useful but it can be a bit OP now that it shows traits.

yeah i learned that very quickly, within first week put up alot of the rates until i found what fit best for the amount of time i can play lol, i know easy mutation was a life saver (at first only used the x1 potion) and it still took me 200 hours to get my rexes to 20hp 20 melee mutations lol

in ASE I set my max wild level to 300 so I wouldn't have to worry at all about mutations. except for colors. my rates have changed over the years but besides the difficulty going back to normal, don't think I've done any major changes in a long time.

Yeah, that's a big pain for a private server or single player. You cannot just trade up for a good dino. If you want boss runners, you have to do it yourself. And that takes months even at 4x with the RNG in Ark.

It's been occured at Astraeos and now at Insaluna. My save game was pretty new. I mean before I start play at the Astraeos, I deleted previous date before I start it. @dollie @wc_svala not sure if it's been reported already but on official extinction at least I've had about 8 occasions where accessing or removing stuff from a dinos inventory, specifically I was on a Carc, and it has frozen my console leading to a full system crash

There's a chance yes on beta and gamma. Alpha you normally get 2 sometimes 3 but on gamma n beta if you do then will only be 1 (should)
