Tbh I kinda enjoy the fact that asa doesn’t have all maps immediately, since I when I was a bit younger I always watched vids on ase but was to young to play and didn’t have a good enough device to play on. I got a ps5 last year though and got asa and I’m actually happy their not all out at the same time since due to me not being around to play during the og launches of the maps so the launches on asa while not as hype for those who played during ase since I never got to play then it’s very hype for me and it spreads out the life of the game quite a bit more. Can anyone explain to me in detail about the breeding process of rexes for boss fights

I forgot the initial levels of both but without any level ups they are at 197 and 205 with their tame boosts

I saw a video where it guided me to get a male and female from them having identical stats i got a male but after that females are very hard to get and when ever i get a female either the melee is bad or the level is 212 where as male is 209(same as father rex)

Ok so if you are on single player you can increase several settings to have eggs, baby growing faster and then get your dinos leveled up with the best stats

My official pve rexes had from 75k hp to 210k hp, all thanks to a selective process of right breeding

You should try to tame 2 top 150 wild rexes fem and male both with execeptional kibble

The isn't easy, you should get 2 with these stats, 1 with high hp and the other with high melee

After that you should keep breeding them and only using or replacing the original couple with the others that got an improvement or mutation in the desired categories

This isn't hard, I tamed already top rexes, baryonyx, therizinos, thylas, all using kibble, the rest is selective breeding ( I did that on ase, but mostly now on asa because on ase I got as gift almost every single dino in the game, including dead zombie event wyverns)

WC, Please Fix being able to clear obelisks. You have troll tribes leaving all their dinos in the boss summoning circle so we cannot summon bosses at obelisks anymore, and now you cannot clear by sending them into a boss arena.

For 'The Center' map the common spawn locations tend to be near any obelisk, as well as around 55,45 or cruising around the entirety of Jungle South. It's worth checking around lava island too.

Anyone experienced the boss fight not ending on the center in AsA? I just did alpha and after killing brood mother and gorilla, the timer just kept going. It gave me the trophies and flags but no crate with element, and it let me cryo my tames but the timer kept ticking. Luckily I run my own server and was able to enter admin mode and ghost out of the arena, but the achievement for steam didn’t pop either.

hey guys since the big update 3 weeks ago I can no longer use frame generation.. if I activate it it causes a visual bug, a sort of afterimage.. I have a 4070 ti super and my friend who has a 4080 has the same problem especially on scortched for him and me on the 3 maps..

that is just how framegen works lol. you need about 80-100 fps before framegen to not get a demonic image

any sort of rapid camera movement, or rotating/erratically moving objects in the scene, tend to make it get terrible artifacts

framegen works by looking at past frames and a map of what direction each pixel is moving (the object in the scene it belongs to, rather) and tries to guess at an intermediary frame using that data to move the pixels. now imagine what happens if your framerate is too low for that to produce smooth movement between real frames

So I'm running an RTX 4070 which is the suggested card when you put settings to max, but the game runs like crap on ultra settings for me. I get 20-30 fps and regular crashes. On almost all settings less than ultra though the game looks grainy and I get ghosting on fast movements like the Rhynio's wings. Anyone got some magic they can work to help?

suggested by what? and what resolution are you using? ghosting is due to using tsr/dlss/framegen, especially at low framerates

a 4070 would be fine for 1080p, some settings on ultra are just not realistic to use on current hardware, but dont make much difference anyway. usually how "ultra" works over high

I'm on 2560 x 1400 res. Suggested by the game itself when I put the video settings to ultra, there's a popup saying the settings are not reccommended unless you're running an RTX 4070

I didn’t even care about the element lol. I was worried I was gonna lose my boss team at first. Luckily it allowed me to cryo them and as I said I run my own server so could admin myself out with the ghost command.
