My thing is, I honestly hate that you HAVE to buy dinos in this game. It's a sad day for ark. I love playing PVP with my friends on our private server. They got the pyro day one and I stood my ground until yesterday. After I watched one of these cats 1v1 a lv. 185 alpha rex I knew I either get it or get mopped up. It's a huge problem and sad to see that the game has come to pay-to-win. There isnt a counter to this dino except another pyro.

Especially about what environment you are using (nitrado, linux, etc) and share your command line launch arguments. Most likely the rest of the option parameters are being added to your password argument, so it should be last in the list. You should compare this to the maps that do work.

surely the devs of this game can start listening to the crying need for a reduction in foliage on the center. its stupid. i now after each patch nearly cant play the game on the lowest settings because they keep adding and adding more and more trees and bushes and we have no way to reduce it to be able to see anything. currently you can hide a full grown wyvern in the bushes. in 3rd person its not there and if you are un mounted you cant see anything but bushes on the entire screen. please devs either allow a setting to make reductions in the bushes and leaves or just reduce them game side.

Some dinos used to be set up where left click was only attack and alternate was always for harvesting. But then they add option to disable resource gathering completely and made both normal and alt attacks gather. Kind of wonky but whatever.
A filter would definitely be nice but I don't see us getting one.

Yeah desert loot crates seem to be on par with deep sea loot crates which got a severe downgrade between games.

SE deep sea crates are 100% hit or miss. Same with the cave drops. All around SE loot is better but they removed non-native saddles from the loot table so you can't get stuff like bary saddles, theri saddles, giga saddles, etc, unless you have bobs tall tales and then it's extremely random what you get.

i also did 3 treasure maps on SE, one prim, one apprentice, one asc, and all 3 in a row gave me 124 premade mosa saddles XD

Cave crates are best because they contain the best loot, and the cave loot table isn't different for every cave like island and center.

So you can pick 1 cave and get everything the other caves drop as well.

Yes you can but it's hard work compared to using kibble. There are no bees on our scorched so we cannot use kibble. We tried prime and mutton, mutton was better. But it was still not great, each piece gives a small amount of progress. Because of this high level ones will sober up and you'll have to get them drunk again. It took 2 cycles with mutton and 3 cycles with prime. Be prepared to burn through up to 9 blood cocktails, also if they get near a player structure, they slow down their attacks on your tame which means they will lose drunkeness progress. This was all tried when we had 2x, I don't even consider trying them on 1x.

Stats on the baby rex make no difference, it being a rex baby is enough to get full trust meter for riding the carcha. Back in that first week they released on ase, people were convinced you had to use top stat baby rexs. Whilst I was using level 20's.

Aha! Sounds funny but I think maybe what you are experiencing is that other players were around your base more often before the Center was released. I don't think anything has actually changed but, if less players are around to render your base then it will just be active less often.

The torpor doesn't stack, so if you attack twice in succession the second attack just does damage but no extra torpor. You have to time the hits, iirc its about once every 10 secs. But even so with low hp, high torpor creatures like dimetrodon there is a good chance it'll die.

They name them funny sometimes, yes. IntervalMultiplier this means higher number increases the time between. So a value of 0.5 should make them lay twice as fast. Anything over 1.0 should make them lay less often than vanilla.

I have been recommending the Any Colour Sets mod a lot. It is quite good and works perfectly even though it hasn't been updated in a little while. This way you can set any colors you want and you don't have to worry about waiting on Nitrado to add the options.

Okay so. Hold a dino ball. Then open radial menu. Should have "Preferences". In that menu on the right you will have a whole list of things that you can set under "Admin Bypass". The one you want to uncheck is "Wild"

Thats not how software works I'm afraid. You cannot force a process to use more RAM. Software will load data into memory as needed and will consume RAM as such and deallocate it when data is removed from memory or garbage collected.
If it's using 17gb that's about right. If you have 32 total and a lot free that's great. More usage won't increase FPS. It will only have the operating system swap memory to disk when memory pressure happens and then you'll get FPS drop.
You'll want to look at GPU (and gfx settings) and CPU next
