Well are you ASE or ASA? I don't think those Euryptid things are out yet. If they are I never see them. Trilobites are a thing though right now. The ones that drop the silica pearls, oil, and the rare black pearls. Those Euryptids I do remember being on Ragnarok and they were a good source of pearls for early game. They weren't super rare and would drop a few at a time.

Eurptids are normally at the bottom of the ocean. a few group together.. .check the 4 corners of the map/ocean floor. lol squids rarely get close enough to surface to shotgun them 😄

Watch out if you're hunting euryptids with anything small, their attacks do insane torpor. They are fairly weak but if your tame and you get ko'd they are worse than troodons.

Make sure to quickly put all of your items in a dino's inventory after winning, the game tends to randomly delete items after the fight (Tends to randomly delete a few items in singleplayer, tested all bosses in PlayStation and PC, Need confirming for xbox.)

Been in both artifact underwater caves since I started noticing no Cnidaria. Caves aren’t spawning ANY Cnidaria either.

Only other mod I’m using that I would think could mess with spawns is the custom Dino lvl mod. But again no one else is having the issue of no Cnidaria spawning. Don’t get what’s causing this issue.

Does your tame have enough of a food stat to make it to when they eat? If its a baby you may have to force feed for a couple minutes or sit with them in a gigaraptor saddle. The change is that they drop a little lower and eat a little more to make it so they dont eat as often and conserve game resources.

The server owner has to shutdown and restart the server for updates. Just like when updating mods. And that timeframe will likely be based on when nitrado has the update as well I'm guessing.

Can any discord mods clarify something about what, if any, transfers will be available for Scorched Earth? Will it just be character transfers or will we need all new characters?

If it's like ASE, characters will be able to transfer on to the new map with levels intact, but otherwise naked. You can not bring anything with you to the new map for a few months. You should, however, be able to take things off the map right away, back to your Island server, as it's already open for transfers both ways.

If you are taking an already leveled character to the new map, your levels will be reset to 0 as if you took a mindwipe, but all your XP should be there, so you should just be able to put your levels where you want them.

Is there a way to fix the floating rocks without turning on the dynamic foliage, both break the game. Dynamic water breaks and causes random patches of bubbles everywhere causing me to restart every 5 minutes. But turning it off results in floating rocks everywhere. Does anyone know how to get HDR to work in GeForce Now? I have HDR enabled on my TV, and in Windows 11, and in the GeForce Now settings. I am thinking it is an .ini file which I probably cannot change in Geforce Now computers even though it is supposed to auto-enable on boot. r.AllowHDR 1 and going back to the main menu doesn't enable it either ("adjust brightness/hdr" still shows no hdr comptibility.) I am running a 5700XT which uses hdmi 2.0b but my TV is hdmi 2.1. HDR should work at 4k 60hz, with or without their geforce 4080s and with my 48gbps hdmi cable. Maybe it is an RTX block because of the 5700XT but idk. My smart TV's geforce app usually says "RTX ready". I ordered a display port 1.4a to hdmi 2.1 cable to make hdr at 4k 120hz but it isn't even activating in -this game- at 60hz. Any help would be awesome. HDR seems to work in other games fine. HDR does not work in the smart tv's application btw

@polar owl There is also EF (expedited forwarding) DSCP options on the xbox. It aggressively cuts other bandwidth to favor the person who activated it.

It may be the cause of server disconnects too if people are using it and not on xbox. I tried turning it on via a tplink router and it broke steam's authenticator and disconnected me.

Cause I don't know whats going on. I started ASA on my 2080TI worked fine, then when I upgraded to my 4090, everything was also relatively fine. But as updates went on, the game caused me to crash more and more and more.
Now I can hardly get into the server, as I crashed so far 8 times trying to get in despite the fact everything is on Low setting and FPS capped at 60 lol.

Okay I have a spyglass question -- back on ASE, if I was mounted with the spyglass equipped, it not only auto-zoomed (whereas if you were standing you needed to right click to zoom) but you could look around in a full 360 degrees. (This was handy for mounts whose heads I couldn't see over; so I would park backwards and look behind me). However, I've noticed with ASA that when I'm mounted and equip the spyglass, I still need to hold right click to zoom, and I only have a peripheral/about 180 view (I cannot look behind me). Is this just a game mechanic for ASA or is there a setting somewhere I missed? Or maybe I just have to park my dinos sideways instead of backwards when scanning levels of wilds lol.

So apparently a player threw out his dinos and the base he was near was a different tribe. when the dino came out it is now owned by the other tribe. Now we have 2 bases that have completely switched owners to a different tribe. After that they have Now switched the 2 different tribes bases are completely owned by a different tribe.
