Are people able to hit anything with a Sarco? The attack was really broken in ASE and couldn't really hit anything and it seems much worse now. I spent about five minutes only landing a few attacks successfully on imobilized targets. I seem to be able to hit them a little bit it they're completely to my side but can't hit anything in front of me.

Do you have an ovi? To eliminate the possibility of them not laying eggs or somet other bug, set the ovi to pick fert eggs and breed them, see if the ovi can pick it. Egg could be invisble or any number of things

Yep....I have a kibble farm. Had it all set up and working dropping eggs through hatch (the poop still drops) but all of a sudden stopped working. No eggs at all

id try an ovi first, see if there any eggs at all. If no eggs...that is a rather strange bug. If its picking eggs that you cannot see, or if its not picking at all, if they are not laying

Nope. It does not. The only solution so far is to run a console command that temporarily shows your server, but has to be run every time you start the game.

Even if you have it as a favourite, it won't show in that list either, no matter how long you wait.

Go look in your server browser. 95% of unofficial servers shown are Nitrado. Almost all the rest are running 32.17. There are a few non-nitrado servers running 32.21 that are showing. No idea why. But almost all are not. Many have reverted to 32.17 to get things working again.

Theres a reason why the studio wildcard group has their names blacked out and I havent ever seen them come off of DND. I dont think they really care. They have to with nitrado because of the contract.

None of the flags or ini settings are even documented by them personally either lol

connect via ftp, and copy the saved arks folder to your own computer. this is a hard backup of your game progress, If you google how to do it or watch a video. I like to test mine in singleplayer before reinstalling a server , just to make sure the data is good

Ok so update on my situation : I can't change settings related to breeding, the only thing that seems to change is matingspeed, the matinginterval, babymaturespeed, egghatchmultiplier, these don't work, I tried many fixes, I even copy/pasted a game.ini that work for someone else, but it still doesn't work for me, at this point I don't even know what do to to fix it... the only time it worked was when I put buseSinglePlayerSettings=true and it overrides it but the other settings it overrides I don't like them..

So I had the exact same problem. What I ended up doing was putting the command lines in multiple locations and it started to work. I put it under the world settings in gameusersettings.ini, as well as putting it in the game.ini that was blank by default.

There is a way to find out. If I remember correctly you can click your steam library, the game, properties and then there is some kind of menu somewhere with the log of joined servers

for SP? You can 'upload' your character at an obelisk.. and then when you exit the game, and start it again, it will let you create a new character, or you can 'download' an existing one.. that's how you'd do what you're thinking without resetting everything.

I don't know how it works as non-dedicated because that's really SP w/friends (that's why the tether stuff).. so if you all 'upload', I'm not sure how the game handles that TBH.. might work the same way but I've never used non-dedicated.. I just host a dedicated server on my machine and play on the same machine (just need about 32GB total ram)

Dedicated (official/unofficial) -> your character(s) on the server, not your client machine

Hi all is ASA crossplay. I have the game on MS Store and my friend wants to get it on PS5 but he only wants to play if we can play together.
I saw a few posts on the internet saying that crossplay has been removed because of anti-virus issues and just want to know if it is true or can he buy the game and we can play together on small tribe(OFFICIAL)

Personally I've haven't encountered any issues with single player. I have about 10 mods installed and a serious dino hoarding issue which my series x has been handling it like a champ.

Windows version is currently unable to join officials due to anti cheat issues. No idea when you’ll be able to again

and do you get like a more constant 30FPS without having to use console commands to decrease graphics ?

The Windows store version wasnt shipped with any anticheat, and that went pretty much as expected. They disabled the ability for windows store clients to connect to official servers because it got pretty saucy. You can play together, just not on officials servers right now.

I did it by getting my argy, bug repellent on me and her, south redwoods found a hive on the larger trees. Hit with argy retreat and kite bees away then return to hit again. When hives is destroyed run up and tame bee

Takes a while but fairly easy

put 2xc4 on hive, blow it from a distance, after a while the drone bees die, run in feed queen flower.

thats not the update. Its a smaller file, it just verifies the 74gb

Other than removing fog and/or clouds when visabily is literal zero during flight I dont use console commands to remove stuff from the environment. I also didnt notice much difference in fps when I did remove the grass while playing on offical pve (did it only so I could see the ankle biters that grass is super tall in places).

Cool, going to buy it now, I really don't want to remove fog,clouds or grass or anything at all, I'm a solo player so it should run more smooth, I see a lot of tearing but oh well

Reducing shadows helps fps a lot on console

Same for pc (and yes removing grass/small rocks gives little to no perfomance boost)

So I've heard and I never said it didnt. I havent removed shadows so I cant say how much better the game would run if I did. So long as my game continues to run smooth I dont see a reason too 👍
