Suggestion: I am so tired of eggs being so far delayed due to the server lag. Imprinting is hours delayed. 8 hours is more like 12 hours... My suggestion is, to make 1.5 rates a permanent feature of the game. This lag causes huge spike increases in everything, taming, breeding, and maturation. It's god-awful when you expect to be ready for imprint or baby hatching and it still has hours to go. Please consider respecting your players' time.

Unfortunately Nitrado atm but we small so havent run into any big issues so far. Just headin to gamma tek cave. Roughly 300 hours in. Some small bugs but been fairly good so far. I think the larger pops are struggling more. Seems to get rough on larger servers.

Trying to report a bug with Global chat. Link in #bug-reports not working. Where the chat box is supposed to be in ASA it says Auto-Hide Enabled. I can bring up the keyboard and type and send but nothing shows up. Other players are reporting the same issue. its been pretty good on the Series X. I hear its bad on the Series S. Im on Series X. The ground looks amazing but he sky needs a lot of work. Fog needs a lot of work. Characters run smooth with speed lvling... Did have some freeze frame happening a bit on and off for awhile today though. Its good but it all needs a lot of attention and im hoping WC delivers with an update soon to address some issues that should not be issues.

Your xbox graphics aren't insane like in the trailer because at the end of the day the Xbox is $300-$500 console. The game has insane graphics, but your device also has to be able to handle all the dino spawns, trees, rocks, and so on. Let me add your console also has to handle all the stress from all the players in the server and their dinos as well as stuff they have built. Obviously running a game like Arma reforger doesn't put your xbox through the same amount of stress so your game looks better.

Like if you play on a minecraft server even though it's a pixel game you still lag and rubber band like hell you know. That's because you're playing with other people and if you add a ton of mobs in minecraft with spawn eggs or blow up thousands of tnt you lag and crash. Now imagine the same thing going on but in ark but with insane graphics does this make sense now?? All the dinos and structures in a server put again as I said stress on the xbox. So your graphics are lowered on purpose "devs way to optimize was to lower graphics"

All I can advice is disable fog, cloud, grass, which makes the game look worse. Which a lot of people who have lower end pc's do so I'd probably advice console players to do the same. Some of them went from 20-30 fps to 80-100 and better performance overall. The devs also do the optimizing for console players so they already did all the tweaks for you guys. A good amount of pc players don't know they gotta tweak settings or they cant run the game.

Removes all grass from the game its probably gonna boost your fps insanely. I use this on online servers when the lag is very bad and it stops my rubber banding and lag. Also useful for finding your bag when you died or small dinos Iike otters.

You have to alter gameusersettings. INI manually it cannot be done in the game while running.

Also after you save the config manually, load the game and issue the destroywilddinos command or you'll see the SAME dinos roaming around.. ensure when you issue the command that you see at least 1 wild dino disappear or you didn't do it quite right.

As everybody keeps pointing out, they aren't very stable right now, so my take from the crunch is that they're not going to add any servers until they get the current ones stable.

"..we will add more fresh console servers with boosted rates to help players catch up when PlayStation drops"

And my take from this part is that PlayStation hasn't dropped yet so neither have these new types of servers.

I don't see any promises from the crunch of new servers dropping without conditions from other things happening first.

  • revamped map.
  • better visuals even on low compared to ase.
  • better textures for dinos
  • better building mechanics
  • denser foliage. grass and plants play a part in the game. meaning a titanboa could be kreeping on you and you can see the ruffling in the grass to know to run far and wide!
  • way better lighting dynamics thanks to unreal engine 5's lumen caves are darker. and torches actually light a wider area.
  • just overall a better game in general minus bugs.

its SWC so expect bugs. thats why its early access. keep in mind. all of the dlc for ase will come to asa. at no extra cost. so yes game is $50 but your getting hundreds of dollars of content for free on release of them

on nitrado I want to change my dinoperlevelstatmultiplier to the original ones (my friend messed it THE FUCK UP i cant with him), so basically two questions (excuse me for my yappin)

  1. what are the original stat multpliers (like is it 0.2 health and 0.17 melee?)

  2. what order do i put them in? like things like
    PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[0]=1 is confusing me i dont know which is which

yeah that was my exp on server 726 when ark went game prev on xbox one. so many land takers. i just rented ever since. been on my own sever so far we have about 50 people who are very chill. its a pvpve server. but atm we just vibing. untill the storm happens and one tribe gets the strength to come at one of the other tribes

@thick tide probs when optimisation gets better. atm it would floor the xbox if water/foliage physics was turned on

cause sony decline it. everygame that has tried to get mods approved for ps got denied. bethesda had to take them to court over it.

think like this. sony consoles are majority owned by kids. if they allowed mods on their console with out any sort of watch. there would be alot of suing. microsoft allow mods but they literally have a massive team to go through each mod and approve or deny. sony do not want to fork out so much cash doing this.

microsoft can as they are the biggest gaming company to date.

Wtf is my game so blurry?!?!? Iā€™m playing on Xbox. Motion blur is turned off. I have a very high end monitor. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I donā€™t know why the freak the game is so blurry looking!! Someone please help! I also have the game on PC and it looks more clear on pc on low graphics then it does on Xbox! Wtf
