I do know that dragon on valguero is much weaker

It was easy to keep track of how much hp we lost from fire as well as we would always go in on deinonychus.@prisma sand. Unless you did the fight a different way a different. When we tried gamma and beta with rexes for the first time it was easy as he didnt have much hp. But since alpha has 972000 hp it took longer to kill him which also meant more time for him to damage them with fire

3. make sure nothing is left on your character, then click upload survivor. anything on you will get deleted once you transfer if singleplayer

5. go to another obelisk and download all your items and dinos through ark data

@royal thicket go to an obelisk with what you are taking. Dinos in cryopods. If you dont have a cryo upload to arkdata. You can go to gen 2 and get a cryo from hlna but will cost you whatever the gen 2 currency is. Or ask if anyone has cryos you can have. Put tames in them as well as keep one for maewing. Then do not have to upload dinos. Just make sure you have no timers on anything or they get dropped when you change

I'm gonna need to figure out how to keep pterodactyls alive, because none of them ever survive for too long, even level 145 ones need a ton of grinding to be ride-worthy, and the argy trap won't work with anything bigger than a pterodactyl, so no pterodactil, no argy captures

I feel like I can't ever quite get an argy to stay put, even when I put it in passive mode. It ALWAYS has to fly away from its spot instead of staying put and thus deny me of a quick getaway

When I tamed Argy I just shoot, run, turn, shoot, repeat

If three wooden gates isnt too expensive for you, then just place a gate on one gateway and then lead the argy in with your character and then place the other gate, trapping it, then get out through one of the spaces

Just make sure your armor can take a few hits

Also make sure there isnt too big of a space between each gate or else the argy will fly through it when it torpor runs

You can fix this by having a good aggressive dino/group of dinos, putting them on "target concious only" and aggressive stance with a medium-high target distance. Makes taming things much easier

and per your issues, i would start by looking at the performance graphs when you are playing, seeing if its a spu or gpu thing. if its fps drops and you're only using a portion of your gpu, then increase settings. cpu should be fine, but who knows. also, it could be a power issue with the gpu. so thats something to look into, most likely its settings. i haven't had any issues

The speed of leveling makes a lot of engrams and tames useless. High rates of any kind are a detriment to Ark gameplay.

Honestly, regular meat should be fine too for a Raptor. Once you get a decent starting mount, more will come a lot quicker

Don't worry too much about taming effectiveness until you're established and have resources/tames to spare

Couple meat-tamed Raptors is plenty for early-mid game until you get established and start going for bigger stuff

When you're just setting up, grab some raptors and some prime meat and just try to keep them from getting chewed on too badly in the tame

Build a 2x2 out of stone, 2 walls high. Fly above it with the mane aggroed, it will tp to you and fall in the box. Next catch about 10-20 piranas by lining the shore with baskets and luring the aggro fish to them. Then simply wait for day and feed the mane through the wall.

But those who want to spice things up can risk playing on the pve/p server
Could even make the rates on that service higher as an incentive to be on thar map

Can say i tested this on my servers. All players just stayed in pve areas only. Noone went to pvp maps/areas so it was just a waste of time making the srt up for it. So i agree with you on that. Its not pvp unless its pure pvp and worth the fight.

@solemn sapphire if you're just starting breed you want a pair with the same stats. The lvl 1 has two purposes, the first being they're cheep to clone so you can make alot of females fast. The second being for only needed for official and that is to lower all the unwanted stats to zero so you can have more points in what matters
