most things are fine with being KO'd by bows or crossbows with tranq arrows, if they start at full hp

for some things like Gallimimus you need tranq darts because arrows cause too much damage

So if your bow does 300% damage it would knock a Dino out in like 30-40 tranqs

That's why always put all levels into crafting when making gear to get the best results

yeah, usually you dont want any crafting skill, and when you want to craft blueprints, you drink a mindwipe, put ALL points into crafting skill and craft a lot of that thing

then mindwipe back to your stats

Parasaur is alright for early game. They can get good weight, run far at a decent speed, and alert you when predators get close.

Good for berry harvesting too.

Mine did the same. I ended up just killing everything around it and breaking the trap. Then just tame normally. It’s not terrible.

But then again no tame has seemed bad ever since I tamed a megachelon. That was a poor experience.
