gigas have always been the summary of “pros and cons.” they are powerful, but they can easily be turned against you, and they’re not generally the best tames when it comes to abilities and maneuverability. that’s why people prefer rexes cause they’re great in numbers, don’t rage on you, but still have good power and health. if you wanna wreak havoc for a short time, go with gigas. they’re glass cannons

yes, the process is a bit different if you're on singleplayer or servers, and you can only transfer between servers in a cluster

i was playing like a new island save for about 2 hours and when i was done i typed save world in the console, hit exit to menu, and then i quit to desktop. shortly after i turned my computer off and went away for a couple hours. Now that i want to play that save again i went to host/local and hit single player to resume the old world i was playing and suddenly it tells me to create a new character and now im in a new world. Anyone know what happened?

Is anyone playing Ark on PlayStation 5 having this problem? Press the options button, save, and when I press "exit to main menu" the app crashes and says that there was an error with the app. When I join back to my single player, I've lost 20 to 30 mins of play. sounds like your loot drops are messed up if they’re only 100% damage, but the bonus from crafting won’t work if the bps are at the base armor/damage

I'm trying to configure the setting for not taking as much health damage when hitting resources/wild dinos. Every time I hit one of these with my bare hands, I either die or take significant damage. Which setting in expert mode do I need to adjust?

Then, I'm also having an issue removing a dino from my server as well. I was able to remove 3 dinos, but the 4th one isn't wanting to be removed.

Or on Dung Beatle, just put the poop and make sure it doesn't die by making sure it has spolied meat to eat which shouldn't be difficult if you have a deeding through with meat in it..

Each type of poop will produce 1 fertilizer per lapse of time (say human, small, big in the inventory would produce 3 fertilizer).

You can't: when you run a SP Shared game it always TPs other players, someone already answered you (or, well, someone else asked this a few hours prior...) you'd need to setup a real dedicated server. It's a complicated matter to setup on your own but I guess you could also rent one.

I managed to get it with an army of base 35-40 raised to 25k-30k HP and rest in Dm (base 35 to 40 too); no longer needed them because of new "breed line"; lost a few if I remember correctly [and by a few given I didn't care them could mean over half... The saddles were more important than the tames for that try].

The way u fight a boss on the island is by going to a terminal/obelisk and u put the needed items such as artifacts into the terminal and then u can fight the boss there will be a big dome covering you and u can only bring around 20 dinos i think if u can fit them on the platform. There r 3 bosses u have to fight first, the broodmother (spider), megopithacus (monkey) and the dragon i fight them in the order ive named them and after that u can fight the final boss u access a terminal thing in the big volcano which will need more items such as trophies from the previous 3 bosses and u will have to go through a tek cave which is full of nasty dinos and its super hot and by the end where the boss terminal is its super cold

I have issues with it a lot on non dedicated. Seems the only way to reliably connect is for the friend to be completely out of ark and you send them an invite. If they drop, crash, leave etc they have to close ark and get another invite.

One problem of Magmasaurs/Phoenix smelting is they only work while rendered. Though I mean they require so much less "fuel" - given you count food as fuel.

I noticed Magmasaurs eat more while smelting tho.

For effeciency I wanted to use them (no 'real' fuel) but it's so slow it's too much trouble to maintain.

If so, you need to give stuff time to spawn in. Crystal Isles is a massive map with not many spawners for creatures. You can actually run around for a few minutes and not see anything.

they look like blue crystals. for crystal isles you want to go to the mountain in the top right corner of the map.

note crystal isles doesn't have blue gems by itself, you harvest them with the element shards

they still look like blue crystals tho
