There is no possible way you have played with a PS/Xbox/Win10 player while on Steam. You definitely have not played mobile with any of those, as mobile is an entirely separate server.

Ark is only crossplay available between the Steam, Epic Games, and Google Stadia versions without mods. Steam is the only version that supports mods.

The Xbox/Windows 10 versions are both Microsoft store versions and are crossplay compatible, as is xbox one to xbox series s or series x.

Playstation is compatible between ps4 and ps5.

The Nintendo Switch and Mobile versions are not crossplay compatible with each other not are they crossplay with PC/Xbox/Playstation as they were ported and handled by separate companies.

The unofficial servers for Microsoft are called "unofficial pc sessions", that does not in any way mean that they are compatible with steam, epic, or ps. It just means that a pc, or hosting provider, is hosting the server.

no, why would they be. S+ was abandoned by its creator at one point and SS is one of the forks that have been created to keep the mod maintained, and it's now gone in its own direction.

they're pretty much two versions of one mod, with each having their own development cycles but stemming from one codebase. don't use together.
