Not sure if the trap I use is described out there, but just google ark argent trap and you'll see a few good options. The idea is to fly through it on the Ptera and close it once the argy is inside.

Server and client patches do not always match up. If you see it on the battlemetrics site, add the server IP to your steam favorites list by going to steam>view>servers>add IP. I do not know how to add them via epic.

They are. Eventually you'll probably want to get an additional flyer that's faster (and tougher than a Ptera), and then you'll use argies for carrying stuff and picking up tames

Usually just chill and let it do its thing, and keep inotiating rejoining periodically until it's done. But some servers offer a mod collection that you can subscribe to in steam.

How Come ABB have worse levels than the Island?

I've added snow owls, griffins and velonasaurs on my Valguero server. You can do that by editing the ini files. I think Rock Drakes might need a 'real' mod because of the nests. You'd also want nameless to get the venom to raise babies.

A flyer would be best for CI, since it is massive. An owl or griffin have dives which increase speed. The owl itself gains a small speed boost when imprinted.

crafting skill does two things. one, it increases the speed you craft any item in your hands. secondly, and more importantly, it makes it so when you craft a blueprint that is above 100% on an item, it will increase above the shown amount with some sort of multiplier based on your crafting skill precent. TL;DR, it makes blueprint crafting even better

I've been wanting to know this for a year or two but I've failed to find it or to get an answer on Twitter. I apologise if the answer's readily available somewhere I've missed, but I'm wondering:

Events are currently hard coded removed from the code base as they end, making it impossible for unofficial servers to run them after they end. Is this going to continue being the case now that they'll stop hosting the events? Will they not allow unofficial servers to ever run the events again either?*

Once the end of the year rolls around, PC (steam-epic-stadia) will be getting the assets from all past events re-added so that SP and unofficials can host them without the need for mods or adding assets to drops. Consoles specifically will be getting some assets added to the HLNA shop. There is a community crunch (I think it's a crunch) somewhere that I can try to find as well for more info.

Difficulty/Wild dino levels

In singleplayer, the Max Difficulty option on Island, Aberration, Scorched and Extinction, is bugged and will use levels that effectively follow the x4 offset instead of the x5 that official servers (and most unofficial servers), and official modmaps (such as Ragnarok) use, meaning a maximum wild dino level of 120 on the paid maps and 150 on the rest. If you're on PC, this can be corrected by altering the override in the INI-

To alter the override, you need to
-Make sure the game is closed

• Find the GameUserSettings.ini file. To find it for your platform check the INI pin
  -Open up GameUserSettings.ini (will open with notepad but notepad++ is better)
  -Find the section labelled [ServerSettings]
• Add OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5 right underneath that

If you're looking for the full 150, and not just a corrected override, also edit DifficultyOffset- it should already be in the file, under [ServerSettings]- and set it to 1 (this same value can also be edited with the difficulty level on the menu screen. It cannot be set past 1- to raise the level cap past 120/150 you must add the INI line)

Then, in game, do a wild dino wipe with the command destroywilddinos to get the higher levelled ones to spawn

tl;dr on dino stats: each stat has a set amount of wild and post tame points. wild are set the moment you tame the dino. tamed are what you pump manually. if either of those values exceed 255, it'll roll back to being equivalent to that value minus 255. i.e 260 melee becomes 5/4 (forgot which) melee.

you can't normally do that with the post tame stats due to the default limit of 88 post-tame levels on a dino

It's an NA server but it shows my ping as 60. Down in Chile, the lowest ping I can get on a server in the NA is 120.

However, servers that are in BR (Brazil) give me 60 ping.

So what do you think? Do you think it's lying about it's ping or it's location? I've noticed a lot of spanish speakers in that server too, so I wanna learn towards the latter, but who knows.

Spawns somewhere random on the island every 3 nights (nobody I know has actually seen it above the volcano half of the map actually). There will be an indicator telling you when it spawns. After it spawns you uave to search everywhere before morning and kill it

Stealth can be useful for a lot of situations- Drake's a pretty good egg snatcher. Again, the fact it's very durable and you can shoot from it is also useful, drake's my go-to taming method and is more reliable than traps most of the time. Just because it's not a combat mount doesn't mean it can't put up a fight if it needs to, etc etc

If the terrain is very steep and has many cliffs for sure. Maewing falls off as soon as the terrain gets rough, as it can’t glide anymore. Drake is pretty fast, especially on difficult terrrain with the dash ability and stuff. Maewing swims way faster though

clusters can be broken tho, so transfers will likely not work.
