I would say with max level 150 just go for anything above 50

How do I avoid attacks? I tamed 3 Paras and all three died. One because of those annoying flying pests, one because of a level 1 chalicotherium

And the third one because I accidentally led it off a cliff and then some tiny dinos attacked it for the rest of its health

And I've died about 10 times already

simple, you don't go towards things that attack you

also set max level to 150, if you don't then you'll regret it later
also, expect to die, a LOT

A single nameless venom will fill their food a lot. If it's close to maturation and starving is a ways off, I wouldn't worry about it

It's not like nameless venom is particularly hard to get, though

Wander into the blue zone or the surface tunnel in the Fertile Lake, leave your charge light off, wait for a decent chunk of bois to gather around you, then turn on your light and slaughter all but one of them. repeat until your bloodlust is satisfied and your venom larders are overflowing

hell if you're really bored you don't even have to turn the light back on, a lot of combat mounts can force their way through full power nameless anyway

Babies get extra stats from being imprinted. I forget what exactly the numbers are off-hand, but it's a notable increase to various stats, in addition to the up to 30% damage/defense buff when the imprinter is riding them

Adult rock drakes can glide, climb walls, turn invisible, and seat up to two passengers, but that's what they are always capable of doing

Well that was fun

Had to bail out of the nameless hunt again and in the process of trying to recover all of my dinosaurs that the reaper scattered I got attacked by a swarm of rexes and assorted other lunar biome nonsense

Accidentally Soul trapped my main mount and so had to constantly fight off swarms of Tyrannosaurus Rexes on foot because I didn't have the time to navigate to get the mount back out

Having to improvise constantly with s*** like using the tech punch to keep gaining distance and speed because I couldn't land long enough to get my footing

10/10 experience highly reccomend

on servers, the supply drops, rockwell terminal and obelisks are all transfer points with the first being the easiest and safest.
on singleplayer, supply drops arent transfer points so youre kinda out of luck

Its a giant cave. It is only logical that there can be no greenhouse effect when there is no sunlight.
