it would probably shear through a part of the cabin and the plane would probably shed itself into parts because of the vibrations

the plane has a higher chance of survival if the entire engine detached rather than a single blade

but I'd like to imagine no thing since no incidents of such have occurred except one in 1994

of an atr42

which had 4 blades at that time
