the idea is there he just needs to work on the execution

if there is no subject, and it is supposed to be abstract as he says, there has to be atleast something interesting like a pattern or a texture in the photo

the extreme heat means we can shrug off the heat a lot more easily than others but if we go abroad to say, Europe, Japan or China even in their summers we'd be fucking freezing

Baguio gets down to 18 - 20 C in the winter and it feels so horrible tryna take a bath with the tabo in Baguio because you'd freeze from the cold ass water (room temperature in other countries btw)

Shoot in 2.8. Have variety in each shot (low angle, deutch, eye level, Ceiling height, be creative, etc.), try using cool tones since I notice the cafe tends to have more flatter whites and less marbling on their desks, making it warm kinda overwhelms the eyes from flat white tops, just shoot more

either ya cope by raising the ISO and denoising later, using a tripod, or getting a flash

also like Anna mentioned the shots all felt a bit like the generic cafe ad you'd see because of the shooting angles

why have you been shooting JPEGs over RAW too?

because you mentioend "The extra 7 MB isn't worth it when Facebook decompresses" but you realize the whole point of those extra megabytes is so you can color grade and push a signal right

after that you can re-export those RAWs into a JPEG and send the JPEGs over
it's less about "more quality and more resolution" fuck it all mate both RAWs and JPEGs have the same resolution, it's more sensor data for color grading
right

didnt give much thought to it, from my experience RAWs gave a bit more quality to it

probably yeah from the added bonus of some of the light data

but my colorgrading is just copying and pasting an edit, then just slightly adjusting it

i take well over 2000 photos an event, thats like 30 gb, my laptop only has like 45gb left since its filled with games and documents

its more about im prioritizing storage, and i just get diminishing returns shooting in raw the more photos i shoot

if im doing a paid shoot, yeah sure im shooting in raw
