Lightroom - resizing in export vs. super resolution

Hello, I wanna know the difference between these 2 options. Which one is generally better for preserving image detail?
For example, if I have 1920x1080 native resolution image, I have 2 options:

1. resize to 4k in export options
2. perform a super resolution

Both will result in a 3840x2160 image
Which one of these should I use and what are the key differences?
