#Is this considered macro?

1:1 magnification
thats about it
it is closeups
the rigid definition is 1:1 or higher
it dosent need to be 1:1 though id hesitate to call it macro
id call it close up photography and not macro photography
the terms macro, close up, and micro are used a lot interchangeably. focal length matters too, 28mm macro will not look like a macroshot.
thats a nice shot though regardless
Ohhh
most macros give their ratio in the specs. i have a macro lens that it 1:4 which means is not one to one more like 1.5? the math is goofy lol
there are even lenses claiming macro but honestly arent. and vice versa.
i should add im not a macro shooter lol 🤣
but occasionally dabble
closest i get to macro is close-focus telephoto stuff
the Nikkor Z lenses are surprisingly good at it
M/96 Mauser
i was thinking that
1915 receiver
sweet
it's accurate to 500yd with cheapo Serb ammo
only complaint is that 6.5x55 is hard to get
thats an odd caliber now
It’s relatively common in Euroland, but not here in the states
well im in the states so lol
thats not bad at all. i have not shot in along time sadly. miss it tons. replaced it with archery as i dont need a range to shoot it LOL.
i always wanted ruger mkIV bull barrel
Had one, great little target pistol
