In no particular order
5 best

  • A lot of new producers got to work with weezer, many of whom did a great job.
  • The band got together to rehearse Winter before it was released, something the band hasn't done in a while.
  • 28 songs got released! Many of which were great songs.
  • There was more adventurous Rivers songwriting in many of these songs.
  • ALBOL receiving some radio success.

5 worst

  • Jake was busy and could not help produce SZNZ as it originally was planned.
  • Records being tacked onto summer and the promotion surrounding it. (E.g. the remixes) It was not all bad but it just could've been better.
  • The promotion and release of SZNZ as a whole has been pretty messy (late, close-to-zero-budget music videos, strange lyric videos). Again, it was not all bad but it just could've been better.
  • The period where Autumn might have missed its release and Rivers had COVID was pretty scary.
  • Cancellation of the Broadway SZNZ shows which would have had some fire song performances and probably great for the band.

For me or in general? I'll do for me bc I have more material to work off. In chronological order I found a signed copy of Pinkerton deluxe in a record store for like, 15 bucks. I went to a Weezer show. Rivers threw a pick during pink triangle and I caught it so now I have a Weezer pick. I found how to get a Weezer esque tone for my guitar.
Why'd ya have to say 5? I don't have anything else
