You have no issues at work? What are the different factors?
Couple issues I'm thinking possible.

your water. What water are you using at home, what water are you using at work? At home are you using well water or softener. Tap water could also be way different from one district of the city to another. If your water is like 300ppm then you will definitely slow your brew.
Try bottle water or distilled water -
Kettle. How aggressive is the water being dumped at home vs at work? Try a more gentle pour
