My brewista stopped being able to heat up a bit ago, I'll unplug it for a while in case it's some capacitor issue. There doesn't appear to be any limescale or external damage

The thermometer still works, it has only stopped heating

If you have a friend with a compatible kettle/base, try your kettle on their base and vice versa. That will narrow down the issue. If the issue is in the kettle, it could be the element or the connector. If in the base, it could be the connector or the board.

I doubt it's the base, I can hear a fuse or something click whenever I tell it to heat up, the timer, the temperature control and the thermometer still work
