i applied some arnica cream on the outside of my cheeks, which seemed to help reduce the swelling and speed up recovery. It does dissolve clots, tho, so.. use at your own discretion.
It works wonders for healing bruises quickly, if the skin isn't broken.
In the past, i've also taken arnica pills (feels like pseudo-science), in combination with the arnica cream for any bad bruises, and it seemed to help speed up recovery. Now i just keep the arnica cream around for occasional use.
(you can get both at Whole Foods, as well as an Arnica Gel, but i haven't used that)
Damn sorry to hear that, but glad you're ok and still riding. A lot of positive work in Glendale over the years for walking and biking but I think like everywhere sadly, there's been regression since the pandemic. I've definitely noticed it and it's sadly causes me to walk more than bike locally these days.

And suited is commonly recognized as one of the best shops in NYC, I only went to SEY and some other local small cafes last time but that was at the beginning of my coffee journey when I thought Verve was great

Coffee project is really close to suited, worth checking out imo. They roast darker but still cool stuff and the baristas there are really passionate and friendly

Imo this one doesn't make much sense.
Fuel = flavor, and you have less fuel usage than even a ceramic kamado which people complain about smoke with.
Also ceramic lasts forever as it can't rust out. Also it's stupid heavy so it's expensive to ship. I don't get what justified Weber to charge the same for a simple steel BBQ.
You also lose compatibility with KJ/BGE accessories, which imo is the main draw of a kamado. It's a jack of all, master of none.

lol, I hear ya. I only smoke until I wrap so maybe 8-10 hours tops. I had a gravity fed grill that I got quite good at so I like that level of simplicity, but I always had the burning feeling in the back of my head that its so much better on an offset.

The one we have is anhydrous . I emailed the company because I was also super confused and worried my math was wrong. Also I remember chatting with a few other people at #water-table who had the same brand and they validated that it is anhydrous. That may explain why you are getting more calcium than expected especially if your math was on using dihydrate
