It was only much later in the late 70s did someone put together that electron spins have different levels of resistance depending on the substance. So what if you were able to control the magnet power and take freezes of the graph present? Wouldn’t that be a way to see in the human body?

That class and that story that prof told me stuck with me.

Not only does it show that science and math all build upon each other but how we as people need each other not just through space but through time also.

It all makes sense but it still feels like it runs on PFM. MRI trailers are even more wild. Throwing a MRI in a semi truck and setting up anywhere is a crazy concept. 3T magnets are no joke.

Repairing them is intense. Magnets, high voltage, and chilled helium. You’ll spent a week chasing your tail with an image issue only to find out someone put a pushpin in a wall- poking a hole in the shielding.

I mainly focused on nuke med and ultrasound though.
